Great Stay

This is a great hotel, a real value for the price. The room was very comfortable, the entire property scrupulously clean, and the staff just wonderful. The continental breakfast was more than one expects (the pastries were heavenly), plus you could always pick up coffee, fruit and cheese in the lobby in the afternoon. If we had a quibble, it was that the TV needed a bit more involvement than just using the remote, but the staff were super helpful. You're within walking distance of the train station, which was great for us as we were heading to Montreal after our stay. Also there's a pharmacy and a market a relatively short walk away. The upper town is close by, but a climb - just saying for those who are not as fit as they once were. Highly recommend.

Terrible experience with customer service

We were very impressed with this boutique hotel. Every thing about it was first class, including the bountiful breakfast that was delivered to our door each day and the price was right. If we return to Quebec City, we will definitely stay here again. There was some difficulty setting the room temperature, but the staff tried to help us with that. They also were able to get us a reservation at the outstanding Michelin Star restaurant adjacent to the hotel (Légende) on short notice.

Property was clean and well-maintained. It was only a minute walk to Chateau Frontenac and all the other spots of interest. Staff were so helpful especially Romane from front desk. The breakfast pastries provided each morning were scrumptious and the in-room Nespresso machine was quite convenient. Our room had a beautiful lay out and we loved how the bathroom was elegant and functional. We did not hear outside noise which allowed us to sleep quite well. We would definitely book here again on our next trip to Quebec City.

The staff was terrific - so helpful and friendly, and welcomed my husband and I will lots of useful information. The gym was small, but I was happy they had it. Breakfast was delightful. The location is ideal. I would be delighted to go back.

Everything regarding this hotel has been wonderful! The staff is exceptionally friendly and eager to assist, the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas is outstanding, the breakfast is quite satisfactory, and the location is incredibly convenient!

We stayed just one night but the accommodations were comfortable and roomy. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was delivered to us in the morning and was very delicious. 😊

L'hotel est a la fois le plus intime et le plus convivial du vieux Québec. Le personnel de l'accueil est très agréable et sympathique.L'établissement est un hôtel de charme très bien entretenu car d'une propreté impeccable. Très bien situé. Et le petit déjeuner livré sous forme de panier repas accroché derrière la porte de la chambre c'est "la cerise sur le gâteau" une attention originale qui fait hyper plaisir et permet de déjeuner dans sa chambre. Bravo, merci et à très bientôt.

Location, staff, and room were great. The major hiccup was all night very noisy road work in front of our street facing room. It started at 10 pm and ended at 8 am. We each slept about one hour. Asking the next morning for a half price discount we got the answer, “it’s out of our control”. They knew the work would happen and could have easily given us a non street room. But that didn’t happen. Hard to recommend this hotel to friends when the hotel staff could have made amends.

The staff was friendly & helpful. The location was great, walkable to many shops & historical sites and the continental breakfast was so much more than continental with fresh croissants & muffins. We’ll stay here again.

Air conditioning couldn't keep room cool. We had to keep the windows open to sleep comfortably. Street noise until 2am because of bar next door. Otherwise, lovely place to stay. Great location, comfortable beds, good complimentary breakfast delivered to room.

This is an update to my previous review. I failed to carefully read the arrival instructions. There is a way to drive up to the door on the sidewalk to drop off luggage before parking your vehicle across the street. Staff said they are willing to help with luggage as well. Our room was spectacular, we had a suite - a way better value than the Fairmont at the top of the hill. The breakfast to go was helpful but not spectacular - yogurt with granola, 2 pastries per person, and orange juice. We ate next door at LeGrande and it was amazing food. We didn't realize there was a door directly from the lobby to the restaurant. We'd stay there again!
