Such a great location 3 mins to the beach and right on Macrossan Street. Host was amazing nothing was too much and so knowledgeable. The apartments are excellent quality. Second time we have stayed in 12 years and still amazing.

Ken was an amazing host and arranged tours for us. I would highly recommend the Martinique when staying in Port Douglas.

Great location. Clean, quiet and very helpful hosts

From the moment I booked the hosts offered advice , from where to stop for lunch to booking trips , on arrival we found the accommodation to be in a perfect position and far exceeded our expectations, would return without hesitation.

Yet another fantastic holiday at Martinique on Macrossan. Always clean and friendly. Location location Location this hotel is so close to the beach. With the beach chairs, ice, books and the barbecue always available could not recommend a friendlier and more welcoming place in PD

Beautiful Mediterranean style accommodation barely a minute walk to the beach one way and cafes / restaurants the other way. Perfect for 2 person 10 day stay.

Good location close to beach and local facilities within walking distance

The property grounds are kept in immaculate condition and are beautiful ,tranquil and inviting. The interior of the accommodation is equally well kept. Very clean! Bed was comfortable and a small balcony was a lovely spot to relax. The kitchen is small and adequate for simple meals with stove top , microwave and bar fridge. Unfortunately I struggled with a very blunt knife, but in fairness I didn’t ask the proprietors about a better one, and believe they would have been willing to provide a solution if I had . The two male hosts are affable and helpful. I wasn’t prepared for the amount of stairs! There is no lift, so if stairs are a problem try for a ground floor apartment. Martinique on Macrossan is a short walk to some lovely restaurants, eateries, shops or to the beach. It is adults only which means enjoying a drink ,from an acrylic glass, in the garden won’t offend. Of course for safety - no glass by the pool.

Nice and clean apartment, easy walk to town & shops, very close to the. The resort has beautiful garden and pool area, we used the BBQ one night which was great. Only let down was lack of clothes dryer in laundry and their are no Laundromats in Port Douglas. We enjoyed our stay very much 🌞

Great position clsoe to everything. Our stay somewhat marred by noisy construction works close by every morning at 7 AM - but that isnt the fault of Martinique.

Great place to stay in Port Douglas. Just a few steps away from the beach. It’s quiet - even though it’s in the Main Street, it’s far enough away from the pubs and restaurants etc to be peaceful but close enough to walk to everything.
