Hotel sicuramente di qualche hanno che è stato ristrutturato bene ma come molti hotel nella città di Catania tralasciano la manutenzione del bagno e soprattutto della doccia/vasca. Vedere tutto pulito e poi un soffione completamente incrostato dal calcare o un bastone doccia che non si regge è un peccato.

City center location and in a very quiet street but only two blacks away from the busy city center! The hotel is a bit old in terms of physical condition, no drinking cup in the room, one of the room refrigerator is too noisy. But rhe staff was very friendly and professional at check in as well as provide volet parking which is essential for us!

Great location, beautiful property, air conditioning, good breakfast, friendly staff.

I loved the high ceilings and the way the room was decorated. I loved the veranda on room 322. The wall of the tub in the bathroom was too high and not easy to step over. The glass wall protecting the bathroom floor from water spray was too short. The floor of the tub is slick and could lead to falls.

The property overall was very poorly maintained. The water did not drain properly from either the sink or the bathtub. Although we arrived late in the afternoon, the room electricity was not working. Considering the overall experience, the property was extremely overpriced.

Hotel was average. The room was so bright because there were no blinds. Needs to be modernised and refurbished. Good location for central Catania.

No hand or face towels No iron Negatives: Shower sprays all over & puddles everywhere no extra towels to absorb the water on the floor. No hot water in the bathroom sink. Erratic WiFi Flat pillows Insane noise every morning woken up by the garbage pick up directly below our window. Our last morning there we could not eat breakfast because it was so crowded there was nowhere to sit.

Hotel was in a great location for the historic centre. The room was clean and as it was ready when I arrived I was checked long before normal time

Great location to enjoy Catania. Only one night this time, should have stayed longer.

The bedding needs to be majorly upgraded. Need new linens better pillows a stylish comfortable coverlet and better mattress or mattered pad. It was a very uncomfortable sleep for a quite high priced hotel. Also the shower is terrible with mould and rust and it leaks. Breakfast and location are lovely

The location is conveniently located with tons of restaurants to choose from. The building is pretty dated so don’t expect anything too modern. The WiFi doesn’t really work which is fine with me. We did have a situation that no towel was provided and there were no bedding for the sofa bed. The staff came with us and quickly fix that. Overall a good experience.

This is a wonderful, clean older hotel near the heart of the city. The only BIG problem is PARKING. But the staff helps with that.

Pas un quatre étoiles, 2-3 max. Besoin d'une grande rénovation. Il y a des chambres sans fenêtres. Petit déjeuner passable. Bon emplacement près de la rue principale.

Il Principe is one of the best located hotels in Catania, close to all the main sights and easy walking distance to Square, Monastery, Fish Market etc. The Staff were exceptionally helpful . The reception area's, and Breakfast room had plenty of space and nicely decorated with marble. 2 person lift to all floors. The hotel had somewhere for the luggage on our last day. There was alway someone on reception. The area was quiet and felt safe. Breakfast had a good variety, hot scrambled eggs or boiled, bacon, mushrooms. Cold ham and cheese, yogurts, cereals, croissants. Fruit juice and coffee. The room was a good size and double aspect. Our room had a shower, which was adequate but could have done with updating. Bed was large but a little firmer than we are used to. Towels, hairdryer etc provided. Air conditioning was excellent. Unfortunately there was no kettle or coffee maker in the room, although there was a fridge and safe. I don't think we could have got a hotel that was in a better spot, ideal to pop back to in the day for a rest.

Everything was super, but internet was really bad. I was disconnected every 3 minutes

This hotel location is good but everything else was not good. Our van can’t come to hotel so had to pay extra to bring the laggaue to hotel
