Our stay was mixed. When we first checked in, we were given a room on the third floor that smelled old. The air conditioner didn’t work, and the wardrobe had a bad odor with no shelves inside. There was also construction going on in a nearby room, and the dust made us feel unwell. We tried to call the reception for help, but the room phone wasn’t working.
The lady at reception wasn’t helpful when we reported the issues, but the manager handled the situation well. He changed our room immediately and offered a complimentary 30-minute massage, which we appreciated.
The entertainment team was great, and the spa experience was excellent. Meena and Hudda gave wonderful massages, and Lubna, the housekeeping lady, kept everything clean and was very kind.
However, the WiFi was very poor and barely worked. We were also disappointed that although we booked full board, water was only provided at breakfast. There was no water served at lunch or dinner, and guests were discouraged from bringing their own drinks or food. The price difference for water was unreasonable—5 dirhams outside but 30 dirhams in the hotel.
Another concern was safety. There were no “wet floor” signs, and one of our friends slipped because of that.
Overall, we enjoyed the spa and some of the staff were wonderful, but there were several issues with facilities, food service, and basic hospitality that need serious improvement.
