We booked a 2 bedroom my hubby and our 4 kids. The kids enjoyed the pools, the fact that we had the ferry dock literally at the back of the hotel building that left every 15min to go to town was amazing! We took kids to the Wheel of Brisbane only 50cents on the ferry which is awesome for a big fam and dont need to pay for the insane parking at the city. The 2 bedroom was lovely however it has its wear and tear. The queen bed was small for our 6ft 5 hubby and son but comfortable. Thankyou Mark for the friendly service and excellent customer service! Also if you have a truck thats high over 2.3m just fyi book in advance so they have a spot for you. Mark and his colleague were great making sure we had a parking as there’s only 3 for high cars and its $15 a day. Other than that, beautiful view and beautiful perfect place for a family.

A fancy facade but that’s where it stops. Once we got to our room we were greeted with a dirty worn out room. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long with questionable residue on the floor and the kitchen area was filthy. Pool area was closed, the bar and cafe were closed. Would have been nice to know prior. I don’t like leaving poor reviews but I think this is warranted. View of the river was nice and the ferry stops right out the front. I was called before check in and walked through the check in process which I appreciated however when I raised concerns with reception about the state of the room there was little concern. Wasn’t the best choice of venue for our anniversary weekend unfortunately.

5th stay there over the last 5 years. The town square precinct is a shadow of its former self….Asian Spice closed, bottle shop closed etc. Accomodation was fine but the rooms are starting to show their age (wall chips, cracks etc). Facilities/amenities all there, Bed was one of the more very firm one I have slept in during many travels. Overall very ok

Our weekend getaway was great. The hotel was lovely and quiet and very clean. My only issues was there was no plug for me to relax in the bath and the unit next to us were smokers and the smell wafted into the hall and we couldn't have our balcony door open.

Wonderful stay, lovely unit , view were spectacular. We love Mark as he is helpful to a fault However the unit lacked inclusions, sachet shampoo , milk amount and the power point was not working in the main bedroom hairdryer. Overall thanks for a lovely stay, Ooh disappointed there is Ni dissapoined there is no restuarant available downstairs Thanks, Trish

Rooms spacious and clean with great views. Location is like a village within a city with cross river Cat very nearby. Greatest asset at Dockside is the staff, especially Mark who couldnt have been more helpful. We have stayed here before and will certainly stay again.
