It was awful, i checked out after five hours and went home due to the condition of the building fabric

Was a really great stay , staff , excellent , food was really nice . Only downside was the deco , really needs carpets or laminate flooring , been a long time since I have stayed in a hotel with carpet in bathroom . Stayed 2 nights , both mornings got woke up 5 am with the linen truck outside my window .

First time stay to visit friends in the area. Location, cleanliness and everything overall was excellent. We would defininitly stay again.

Stayed for a wedding, was beautiful venue and room was perfect. Loved the bed soze and black out curtains. Bar staff were very friendly. Would love to come again.

Very pleasant little spa not far out of Newport, comfortable rooms, food at the bar/restaurant was good quality and reasonably priced, friendly and helpful staff! Would recommend to friends.

Two nights in this lovely old house. Spacious bedroom, clean and quiet with garden views. Warm relaxing pool and spa area. Good food and great staff. Will be returning.

Lovely hotel and amazing staff

Nice building, character. We had a huge room in the eves, great. However, there is a need for some maintenance, stair carpet a big hole, some woodwork could do with a lick of paint, silicone refreshing. The spa, mmmm, clean those shower walls and repair some taps and such. It really needs to be uplofted in places.

Really nice Hotel & Spa. Very nice spacious suite. Even though slightly dated it was very comfortable. The Spa facilities very good. Had a lovely evening meal and breakfast. Looking to stay there again at some point in the future

Faultless; an excellent hotel, professionally run, very welcoming, motivated and efficient staff, scrupulously clean bedrooms in which everything worked, set in an idyllic location making for a peaceful stay, with the added benefit of gym and spa facilities. A great find, the go to choice in South Wales

Great staff, hotel and spa. Beautiful surroundings. Only gripe is that the spa changing rooms are a little tired.

There was an unfortunate event with a blocked toilet but aervice was great and changed rooms immediately

Our room number 5 was paint peeling off the wall scabs peeling off, plaster exposed & very dated, was told we couldn’t use the pool due to reaching its capacity, after explaining we had meal booked at a restaurant ‘ had little time we were allowed in to see 7/8 people in a pool, it wasn’t near its capacity.

Great beautiful location, great service and room was spacious and great atmosphere. Beds were too soft so wasn’t comfortable! Overall lovely hotel!

We loved the pool and spa area and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The decor is somewhat tired but we did have a nice bright room with opening windows and adjustable radiators, which is always a plus. The breakfast was dull, basic bread, all the hot dishes precooked and sitting on top of heaters, lukewarm. The coffee was ok. It would have been lovely to have some local produce, real bread rolls etc.

The property in my opion is very tired and run down. Spa staff were friendly and the treatment was lovely, but there was a mix up with appointments which should never have happened in the first place. Wouldnt visit again sorry.

The room was spacious with a lovley big soft bed which was lovley to sleep it. The bedding was soft and a pleasure to lie on good nights sleep. We enjoyed the facilities and the food very much. There was an issue with shutting the bathroom door, we had to slam it to shut it properly and when it locked, it was a struggle to get out. The room was lovley and clean but could have done with a bigger light it was quiet dark. The spa area was beautifully clean and the muriels amazing. We didnt ise the gym bit they had everything you could want there. The staff were friendly and polite and always happy to help. We would definitely go again. Thank you
