The location was unbeatable, very near the centre and the main Serdica metro station. The room was well furnished and spacious. A good gym and sauna. The breakfast was fabulous with all the usual things plus lots of Greek savouries and sweets. There isn't really anything to fault the Central Hotel. We would go back in a heart beat.

The room and hotel were really nice, but it was just too noisy and air con wasn't the best. Fridge hummed loudly and tram was too loud outside, maybe be ok if other side of hotel

My stay at the Grand Central Hotel in Sofia was a solid, average experience that met my basic needs. The location is quite convenient as it is within easy walking distance of the city center, and the breakfast provided was a highlight of the morning. While the rooms were clean and very affordable, they felt a bit dated and lacked modern touches. Additionally, the rooms were quite small, and the immediate area around the hotel felt slightly shady, which might be a concern for some travelers

Amazing experience. All staff very friendly, approachable and helpful in every way. Airport transfers arranged efficiently and guidelines for walking around city most helpful. Buffet breakfast was the most impressive I have experienced in my travels to eight other European countries! Well done!!
