Hôtel bien placé Personnel au top

Loved the staff! Check in was very pleasant. Staff helped us with hiking ideas and times. Hotel’s view is out of this world. Prob best view I’ve ever had. We went to valley of the nuns for lunch at naibors cafe and it was the best lunch I’ve had in Portugal. Fresh homemade cooked food. The only sad thing was we had to leave. I would definitely return if I ever have the chance

Petite chambre et impossible de baisser le chauffage. Néanmoins literie confortable et bon petit déjeuner excepté le jus d’orange qui est chimique, dommage pour une île qui regorge de fruits. Petite salle de restaurant, beaucoup de promiscuité mais bon diner. Hôtel bien placé pour les différentes randonnées alentour.

Lovely clean room would benefit from extra power points

Pros: Lovely hotel with a style. You can feel like living in a previous century, with beautiful wooden furniture and a blooming garden around. There is a mini museum downstairs, super interesting to see old things in there! Also, there is a very nice and warm swimming pool and jacuzzi. Awesome experience to end the day with! Free breakfast is also a plus. It’s simple but good. The area is quiet, so you can sleep with the open windows and wake up only from the roosters :) Cons: 1. The bed mattress is super hard. I am not too picky but the first night I did not get a good sleep. Then I kinda adjusted. But I know for many people it could be a big issue. 2. There is no tea maker in the room. We asked for the hot water from the bar a couple of times, they kindly provided us with it. But I prefer making my own tea and have a source of boiled water to take for a day. Hope the hotel management will fix both issues eventually, and then it will be just perfect, with a great value for the money.

Parking OK, matelas dur, chambre pas insonorisé

Super séjour dans cet hôtel calme et reposant. Personnel au top, propreté également. Le petit déjeuner est simple mais suffisant. Le restaurant propose des plats variés et copieux. Les différents espaces sont agréables (piscine et jacuzzi, billard et petits salon lecture, véranda..) Je recommande sans hésité. La situation est parfaite pour les randonnées de la partie nord. Très bon établissement

Large clean room with comfortable beds. Only 3 electrical sockets available and all in use. Maybe provide an extention lead? Staff were generally helpful and friendly. Lovely area/setting. No parking issues and lovely garden though didn't get to sit outside much due to the rain. Restaurant needs some attention as food/cooking quality a bit hit and miss. However competitively priced. Would happily return though I might eat out more.

Rent rum, trevlig personal

Stedet er meget smukt renoveret og det er lækkert med indendørs pool og spa. Maden var dog særdeles ringe og kedelig.

Ausgesprochen freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Toll ausgestattetes Museum im Haus mit Sitzecken zum allgemeinen Verweilen. Sehr schön gestalteter Garten und separates Schwimmbad im Garten.

Alt var dejligt på vores ophold. Dejligt værelse med skønt brusebad. Dejlig seng og store vinduer med fin udsigt. Skønt morgenmad og super aftensmad hvor man kan sidde ved den varme pejs.

Alles schick, nur beim Frühstück wäre ein wenig abwechslung schön gewesen

Lo positivo: La habitación, de estilo clásico colonial, es amplia y ofrece vistas al mar. El alojamiento dispone de parking y está a corta caminata del pueblo y del mirador de San Cristóbal. El desayuno es correcto. El jacuzzi y piscina son excelentes para disfrutar de las tardes; las toallas se facilitan por un depósito de 10 € que se devuelve al entregarlas, y la sauna tiene un coste de 10 €. Los salones y las zonas comunes son muy agradables. Lo negativo: La cama es muy dura y se notan los muelles. El aislamiento con las habitaciones contiguas es limitado y se escuchan claramente los vecinos.

Room needs kettle and tea/coffee. Bed wasn’t too bad, but pillows were not comfortable. Breakfast was buffet with hot and cold choices. Staff were very friendly. Swimming pool is heated and hot tub a welcome break! Two free car parks at front and rear of hotel.

The room was spacious and well equipped (no kettle though - you need to ask for hot drinks at the bar) and staff are attentive. The pool and hot tub were a nice bonus.

Albergo molto bello e caratteristico, dal fascino antico, perfettamente immerso nel contesto rurale e naturale del luogo. Molto tranquillo, camera spaziosa e pulita, bella la zona benessere con piscina e vasca idromassaggio. Unici difetti: materassi estremamente duri e colazione con poca scelta, da migliorare in termini di qualità e quantità.

Eklatant ist, dass es im Zimmer nur ein Nachkästchen gab und nur eine Steckdose, das ist nicht zeitgemäß, Internet auf dem Zimmer hat auch nicht funktioniert. Das Frühstücksbuffet könnte reichhaltiger sein, ist aber ok. Der Kaffee aus dem Automaten am Buffet ist nicht gut, auf Wunsch bekommt man aber einen Kaffee nach Wunsch (z.B. Cappucino). Die Einrichtung ist alt/elegant, mit viel Liebe zusammengestellt, aber irgendwie hatten wir den Eindruck, dass das Hotel nicht 'lebt', da fehlt der Spirit, die Herzlichkeit. AE in Restaurant ist nicht zu empfehlen, aber es gibt einige gute Restaurants in 5-15 min Entfernung. Alles in allem trotzdem gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
