The room was a good size, not small, not huge. The bed was very very comfortable and we got good restful sleep all the 4 nights we stayed. Air conditioner worked well, but it doesn’t go below 22C degrees, so is not very cold but fresh. The breakfast buffet was great and the lady (I think Fati was her name) was amazing. Overall very good hotel and location.

Note, this is the only hotel I have stayed at in Italy. It is not a Hilton, Marriott, Double tree.... corporate type of hotel. It has the charm of the Florence town center area. You are reminded of being in Florence when you walk through the door. Its decor is an Italian art vibe. The staff was very nice. The buffet breakfast each morning was perfect and went until 11am. It had pancakes, eggs, sliced meats, cereals, pastries, toast with all kinds of jams, coffee of all types (espresso, cappuccino, americano...), teas and juices. It was not overly stocked but not lacking anything either. The room was clean. It was a little on the small side but again, you are in downtown Florence within walking distance to everything. The building is probably a few centuries old, as all flats and apartment buildings in the side streets of downtown Florence are. But this hotel is well maintained for an old building like this. It's has a charming Italy vibe. If I can take away one star for anything it would be noise. Like I said, it's my first in Italy, so I don't know if this is like this everywhere. But I felt the walls were very thin and we can all hear each other in neighboring rooms. I can hear the man's full conversation next door. I can hear the people walking on the streets outside. I think this is normal for Florence though. I had heard someone else talking about it at another location. At night, I just used a white noise maker app on my phone to sleep. It worked fine.

Great location but difficult to find on GOD due to road construction . Room air conditioning was great but lobby and breakfast room could be cooler

The staff is very nice, cleaning and design are very nice. The breakfast was delicious. The location is very good and close to the Duomo, Uffizi galleries, and Michelangelo square. I recommend living here. Art hotel.

Great location! I walked everywhere. The continental breakfast was good, lots of variety. The staff were very helpful, my room was very clean and the air conditioning was awesome in the room!

Pænt og nydeligt, godt placeret i forhold til seværdigheder, god størrelse på værelserne,de var dog en smule slidte. Kunne godt ønske at der var frugt og grønt til morgenmaden, det mangle. Men ellers et godt sted, som vi godt kunne finde på at bruge igen.

Spacious, clean rooms with helpful staff. The hotel is near - easy walking distance - to museums, historic sites, and shopping. The breakfast buffet is good and available until 11 AM. There is a gym but it’s smaller and the equipment is very old.

The hotel is in a great location that is minutes away from all the major attractions. The room was clean and air conditioned. They provide a complimentary bottle of still and sparkling water each night. The breakfast was great each morning, and the staff was really friendly.

Camera pulita e spaziosa per tre persone. Bagno cieco, piccolo ma funzionale con bel piatto doccia che è la cosa più importante. Armadio capiente e dotato di cassaforte. Presente sia sistema di raffreddamento che di aria condizionata. Colazione a buffet con tanta scelta soprattutto di dolci, non giudico il salato perché ci interessa a colazione. Personale sempre cortese e presente sia alla reception che in sala colazione. La posizione poi è semplicemente perfetta: 50 metri da La Badia, praticamente vicinissimi a tutti i maggiori punti di interesse.

This is a mid tier hotel and a very nice one for it. The room (superior double) faced the road to the rear of the hotel and was on the top floor. We didn't hear much of anything from the street. The staff were helpful and nice, and the lift was somehow always right there every time. Breakfast was nice with a decent selection for a hotel of this size. It's 5 minutes from almost everything on foot and we couldn't have asked for better in that regard - close to everything but not noisy! The Aircon control was kind of hard to use, and the light switches didn't all have button covers on them, and quite a lot of the switches didn't control anything but otherwise everything was in good working order. The shower was always hot. The Google reviews made me worry a little if I'm honest, but we didn't experience anything I'd read as a concern.

Positive: Staff was super nice. The room seemed bigger than mentioned. Location is great. Wifi in the room was about 100mbs - perfect for some video calls. Good value for money. Everything was clean. Nice soft modern bed. Neutral: Breakfast was nothing special but adequate. Negative: There was a little bit of noise from the street / hallway - not terrible though. The smell of the cleaning supplies or some type of air freshener was pretty strong.

We booked our room August, 2025. When we arrived on the afternoon of May 20, 2026, the room had been given away. They offered us a room in an attic, up a creaky staircase with a door that required a key from 1800’s…The space was creepy, like a scary movie. This room was located in the “Do not enter, alarm will go off” area. As 2 70+ year olds, there was no way we could manage the stairs with our bags and it felt totally unsafe where they had trouble getting key to work. We honestly thought we could be trapped in the attic. I wish I could post my picture of how creepy this was. We declined & they magically found another room. We then were required to repack to another room the next night. The only highlight in this scenario was Reception Lu. She was very genuinely awesome & tried her best to make a horrible situation better. Also, breakfast was awful- horrible fake eggs, orange juice that was more than 50% water. Never again.

The hotel was well located. The room was strangely designed. Our room had steps to enter and a strange door key. The room was large and the bathroom was nice but there was a step up to get to the bedroom from the bathroom which was not ideal.
