The Hotel America is very conveniently located, right in the heart of Seville's shopping area, minutes away on foot from the Setas, and right at the northern edge of Sevilla's pedestrian area. There is also a taxi stop right outside to hotel. The hotel is clean, the rooms comfortable and the buffet breakfast very generous and elaborate.

I had read the reviews beforehand and so I knew what to expect. Firstly room 702 was fantastic. The massive balcony overlooking Sevilla was so cool. The room was big, no issues with thin walls or anything of the sort. However, yes, the smell of sewage is there in the lobby immediately as you enter. The room wasn't as bad but you could still smell it. The area itself doesnt smell of sewage at all so its quite puzzling. The sink was smashed and the wallpaper was peeling, which doesnt bother us but they should get it fixed if they want to be seen as a 4 star hotel.. The staff were friendly and helpful, it wasnt ideal that their ice machine was broken though. The area was fantastic and Sevilla is such a perfect city in every sense. If I could stay in the same room again then I would stay here again. If not then I would probably look at somewhere else in the same area. Overall we had a nice time.

my concern is the breakfast was not that great..very few selections.with my platinum status on expedia , i could have gotten free breakfast..for the money they charge 16 euro is not worth it..its one step higher to a continental breakfast.i only tried it once to see what they have to offer,its disappointing. The location is very convenient. great choice for hotel. easy access to all attractions.

The stay here was excellent. We came from the UK and stayed three nights. The hotel is very clean and looks modern and the staff were exceptionally helpful in answering questions and attending to minor requests (for example, letting us borrow scissors from reception and speaking to a local taxi driver on our behalf due to the language barrier). The hotel is located in an excellent location and was within a 10 minute walking distance of some of the big tourist attractions in Seville. The air conditioning in the room was great and it was not noisy outside / the soundproofing was good. We upgraded to a slightly bigger room (the one with the sofa/sofa bed), and was very impressed with the room size. We had a fantastic stay in Seville and we would absolutely love to stay here again should we visit again.

Really good hotel in the old town and opposite El Corte Inglés which is useful for coordination. The rooms are decent sized, the beds comfortable and everywhere is clean. I arrived early but as my room was ready I was allowed to check in immediately. That was a lovely touch and really appreciated. Would happily stay here again.
