Generally, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel -the room was spacious and well maintained, the hotel is near a tube stop, a number of good restaurants within walking distance. My only slight complaint is with the breakfast, which was good but not great, and could have varied a bit more from day-to-day.

Je viens dans cet hôtel depuis 10 ans pour raisons professionnelles et récemment la qualité a baissé significativement. On sent qu ils tirent sur les coûts. Le pire étant le petit déjeuner…il était excellent dans le passé… désormais les croissants et pain au chocolat ne sont pas frais, le jus d orange, le chocolat chaud sont dilués à l eau. Il manque de nombreux produits au buffet… Impossible de se connecter au wifi dans certaines chambres (grande chambre avec long couloir…) Dommage

The breakfast options here were excellent. Property was very clean and the check in and check out process was the easiest I’ve ever dealt with. Parking was very convenient.

The hotel's best feature is its self parking underground parking garage which features car spaces unimaginable in the UK let alone in the London area. The staff are very obliging but management needs replacing. I asked for extra towels. Someone from the front desk said the manager said I could only have x amount. I got what I wanted by entering the hall and asking a chambermaid for them. I mentioned this to another staff member in the dining area who confirmed that management was useless and particularly nasty. Nevertheless, the room was fine and the location very accessible by car. One is not a long drive to Knightsbridge with many fine restaurants. Another disadvantage of staying at this hotel is the fact that Chiswick where it is located has really poor parking for restaurants. The choice of restaurants there is poor to start with so this is not a big deal. The hotel does provide a free and plentiful buffet breakfast. Overall I would encourage anyone driving to stay here. If you have no car, do not consider the place as there are no nearby restaurants and the nearest tube is not so near on foot.

The Clayton Hotel Chiswick is a lovely place to stay! We stayed for 2 nights in July. The room we had was very nice. It was air-conditioned which was welcome during the oppressive heat wave. Our room was a one bedroom with a desk, chair and additional seating area. The bathroom was quite opulent, with a beautiful soaking tub and separate shower! The hotel itself is a short 3 block walk to the Gunnersbury tube station. It's then a 30 minute ride into central London. The staff even let us check in early because we arrived on the red-eye flight from New York and were extremely jet lagged! All-in-all, it was great stay. We highly recommend it!

My experience at Clayton Hotel was abysmal- it started with check in, we were given room 319 and as we entered the room was not ready. Came downstairs and told the staff the room is a mess they said they didnt check it and gave us a new room 219. We entered 219 - the TV control was not working on 1 TV- we thought doesnt matter atleast there is 2 tv's. Then there was no coffee machine - the staff were informed they said they dont have another coffee machine to give us. We were so disappointed with their attitude as they did not even apologise. We carried on and cleaned the room as it was not as bad as 319 but still the mirror etc had fingerprint marks. The next day we went out at 11am and put on the 'refresh my room tag' on the door. We came back at 4pm and the room was not made. We had a concert to attend so we told the reception that the room was not cleaned - they apparently had a maintenance issue and said by the time we come back it would be sorted. It was not, at midnight when we entered we were shocked it wasn't sorted. They then said no house keeping is available and gave us 2 bed linen to put on ourself and gave us no new towels, toilet roll or even water. Our time was so shocking we left and spoke to manager on way out who then had apologised but we didnt not even get offered breakfast. I want a refund for our dreadful stay. I did not expect this and made a video of the whole situation.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The room was very clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the facilities were well maintained. The hotel staff were polite and professional throughout our stay. I would especially like to thank the housekeeping lady on our floor, who was always friendly, hardworking and greeted us with a warm smile every day. She made us feel very welcome. Unfortunately, our trip was overshadowed by an incident where our car was broken into overnight while parked in a nearby on-street parking bay, and two suitcases were stolen. I understand this happened outside the hotel’s property, so I am not blaming the hotel for the theft. However, I do feel the hotel could do more to help guests. The hotel car park is extremely narrow for larger SUVs, and when we used it the following day it took us a long time to park. Because many guests may choose nearby on-street parking instead, it would be very helpful if the hotel could remind visitors not to leave luggage in their cars and make them aware of the risk of theft in the area. A simple warning could help prevent other travellers from going through the same experience. Despite this unfortunate incident, I appreciate the excellent cleanliness, comfortable room, and the kindness of the staff, especially the housekeeping lady.

Excellent hotel in a great neighbourhood, perfect breakfast and the staffs service was great, not just about the hotel but helping navigate the local area. There’s a bus stop just outside of reception and a tube/train station 300 meters away with full links to the whole of London and beyond. They even showed all World Cup match’s in the bar. We will definitely be returning, highly recommended.

Rommet fremsto noe gammelt, sengen var noe hard for vår smak. Badet var veldig bra med flott, stort badekar og romslig dusj. Rengjøring var veldig bra, flott frokostene stort utvalg. Beliggenhet bra, kort vei til Tuben.

Our original room was dusty, dirty, and very outdated — nothing like the photos shown online. It was missing basic amenities such as bathrobes, bottled water, and a safe, and the carpet was dirty as well. Overall, it did not meet the standards I would expect from a 4-star hotel. After we complained about the strong smell of fresh paint outside the room, we were moved to a better room that included all of these amenities and was in a slight better condition. They need to ensure consistency, and better cleaning.

A very modern hotel in a lovely area of London, with excellent rates. 5 minutes walk to the underground, easy access to CentralLondon. Have stayed in Clayton Hotel in Glasgow and the room and amenities in Chiswick Clayton were just as good. Will definitely stay again when in London.
