The room was very clean except some dust on the light fixtures. Kind staff, authentic Venetian feel with the windows overlooking the walkways and into the next building over. The bed was very uncomfortable, but the room was small and lovely, nice old bathroom. It was an antique feel. Remove the electricity and it could have been 1792. Walking there in the middle of the night from the north is a little sketchy if alone, but overall a good spot to spend the night. It’s a decent walk from the main attractions, but has some yummy restaurants nearby. I would stay there again. The reception staff were each kind, helpful and quirky in their own ways which added to the charm.
Don’t expect lush accommodations, but if you are looking for an authentic feel this is a good spot.
