Rating & Review Keseluruhan Absolute Hotel Limerick

I was driving all through Ireland on my own, and this was my last stop in the west of Ireland. The hotel is in a great location to walk around the city of Limerick. To find it by driving was a bit tricky, and the parking was somewhat limited (but I was able to find a parking spot). The staff was very helpful.

Great stay

Hasslefree checkin and access to selfserve parking in garage made the stay excellent. I needed to charge my iphone, and the recepetion solved this in a blink of an eye.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay for a night, and enjoyed our room, and the convenience of the location, within walking distances of places, and/or easy ride-sharing (Uber access) to places a bit farther away.

The hotel itself was nice and close to everything. The lower rating is for 2 things. 1. The bathroom was missing shampoo holders or pumps. We had family staying in another room and they had theirs. Yes, we asked about it when housekeeping stopped by and nothing was done. 2. We had a classic double, 1 king bed per Expedia. The bed was a full size. I measured it. Our family had a larger room and a true king size bed. We asked the front desk and they said we do have a king size but the bigger one was an upgrade. What!? It was not even a queen size bed.

The location, staff and hotel overall is very good. Its close to King John's Castle and many other historical sites. Note that footpaths are quite narrow around much of the town and not the easiest to cart around a suitcase that I discovered on the walk from the train station.

Stayed over Friday-Saturday to visit friends based at the University. Brilliant hotel for 3 friends looking for clean, modern, handy city centre accommodation at an attractive pricepoint. Excellent and extremely helpful communication from the reception staff both in advance of and during our stay, spacious room, clean and fresh with great bathroom facilities, and a small but adequate gym for a quick run on the treadmill. Thank you for an excellent stay.

Nice large rooms, good breakfast at a decent price. Located in central Limerick and a free parking garage just under the hotel. Limited parking space but convenient.

The entire staff were very attentive courteous and helpful. The breakfast choices were excellent along with the service and food quality. The hotel circulation areas and are room were spotless. Absolutely [ pun intended !] a wonderful place to stay ; would not hesitate to recommend and revisit...

Nice

The rooms were quite nice and the staff was lovely! But the smell of the building was disgusting. Staff told me it is their "signature scent" that is blown throughout the lobby and hallways, but it smelled like baby poo to me. I had to hold my breath when coming and going. The scent was so off-putting that I would never stay here again.

Stayed overnight, room was clean & comfortable.Excellent shower. Nice hotel, location good. Breakfast in the morning was good, staff nice. No complaints & would recommend.

Great

Hotel was nice on appearance and parking is free. There was a terrible smell in all public areas, like the sewerage or something. We were told the hotel had been closed for 6 days because of it. Probably should close again until its been rectified. We won't be going back. There wasn't even the offer of a voucher or refund when the issue was raised.

The property was beautiful! The advice on pubs to visit was spot on by the young man behind the front desk, I believe his name was Alexander. Well done and Thank you!
