Stayed on site for a wedding. The wedding suites were good and well maintained. The actual accommodation was not great. Very basic rooms and lack of air con was a serious deficiency. When we are experiencing hot weather (as now), the one electric fan provided in a family room is not really sufficient. Breakfast was okay but very crowded in the area. Teas and coffees only available on a machine. One of the two wasn’t working so large queues formed at the one machine that was working. Not a great experience.

It was a bit like a souped up travelodge. Didn't look inviting from outside. No ac There is a very large number of rooms so it to a while to find mine Room was clean though. Buffet breakfast is ok

WORST PLACE I HAVE STAYED IN A WHILE - NO EFFORT TO RESOLVE MY COMPLAINT (DON’T STAY HERE!!!) I appreciate your comments regarding the location of your room. As a large estate with accommodation spread across several wings, some rooms are situated further from the main facilities than others. I am also sorry to hear that you found the room uncomfortably warm and that you were disturbed by noise from a delivery vehicle early the following morning. I was particularly concerned to read your comments regarding the silverfish you noticed in the bathroom. Whilst silverfish are not harmful, their presence is certainly not something we expect our guests to encounter. I have shared your feedback with our Housekeeping and Maintenance teams so that the room can be thoroughly inspected and treated if necessary. Having reviewed your booking, I can see that you chose to depart a day earlier than originally planned. Whilst I appreciate your disappointment, I am afraid we will not be offering compensation or a refund for the unused night on this occasion. I have a health issue where my body breaks down food incorrectly causing body odour. I found on the last day of my stay the hot water to my room had been turned off. I believe this to have been done on purpose by the hotel, hotels will always notify tennants of issues like this and aologise. I work fixing instruments in hospitals to save lives globally. I would prefer to not be forced into a cold shower by hotels who discriminate.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful in the restaurant and bar. The water stations were useful and the kids enjoyed the outside gym and play area. We will definitely be back

We left and they didn’t refund us. No AC. Music and events until 4:00AM on two nights. We were exhausted and asked for a refund for the remaining nights because we needed to rest. They approved verbally and rejected the Expedia refund.

I enjoyed the staying at your place, room I stayed was spacious with garden views, staffs were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was good and breakfast was not as great. The hotel ground is beautiful and enjoyable. Only downside is there’s no air conditioning in the room.

Cleanliness bathroom spacious shower

This was our second stay - we were very impressed first time round however extremely disappointed with this visit. We’d booked a more expensive room with garden view to be given a room that directly overlooked a wall albeit through a 5” opening in the window. The sleeping area up a flight of stairs had a window that wouldn’t open at all. Equally the friends we were with booked the similar room with garden view and again were met with a view of the extractor fans and no garden view at all. The hotel was clearly unable to fulfill our request, would not move us due to being ‘fully booked’ yet very happy not to mention this and took our full payment in advance anyway. Terrible. We went for a stroll around the grounds in the morning where we had to avoid several pieces of plastic and a large heap of broken glass plus tables that had not been cleared, cigarette packets and yet more broken glass. Absolutely disgusting as there could have been young children or dogs running round. I’m so disappointed and will certainly not be returning.

A great base when visiting Windsor and London. The rooms don’t have aircon through which is a killer in this heat. Equally the family rooms are difficult to get to with stairs and layout. Minor inconveniences though, will stay again

Make sure you do your research. There is no air conditioning even though I would expect this in a 4* Hotel. The windows only open an inch as well. The property is vast as well and if you stay in the Green or Blue area it is a 10/15 minute walk with limited lifts in split levels. People were getting lost and going back to reception. You also need to book time slots for the pool which is not stated online. Breakfast was impressive though with a good variety of full English and Continental.

Finding your room can be tricky at first , this a large venue .

I’ve stayed in at least 10 hotels on this vacation and this was the absolute worst. The staff could care less about your concerns or requests. They require you to use fans because there’s no air-conditioning and open the windows, but then have parties on till three in the morning. I’m always courteous and asking for options and the stuff clearly could care less about anything you want to suggest. No upgrades no help moving bags no response to emails from Expedia. They basically think that the hotel and property are so great that they don’t need to put in the effort for individual customer request or needs. You are either bowing down in all over their property history or you can just leave.

Loved to beautiful property and fantastic breakfast. Only downside is no air conditioning and pool access is limited to early closing so we could never get to pool after day out as a family.

Avoid in summer! The room was hotter than the sun. No Aircon in the rooms and the staff couldn't care less, they seemed hopeful we were checking out when I complained. The mysterious extra fan never arrived, If I could have changed hotel's I would have. Shame as the hotel is beautiful but being cooked isn't my idea of a good nights sleep.
