Kiva hotelli vanhassa nunnaluostarissa. Huoneesta hieno näköala Maratean vanhaan kaupunkiin. Uima-allasalue oli viihtyisä. Hyvin tarkeni uida vielä syyskuun lopulla.

This is a very lovely hotel on a hill with scenic views of the ocean. The staff is friendly and helpful, the pool is very nice and the breakfast is good. They will also park your car for you. You can walk into town for dinner or shopping.

We ended a Ciclismo Classico bike tour in Maratea and so enjoyed the relaxing surroundings at La Locanda delle Donne Monache. We tagged on 2 extra nights at the hotel…I could have remained there for an entire week!! The only “downgrade” is the firmness of the mattresses ( we stayed in 2 different rooms). I found the mattresses throughout our tour across southern Italy to be quite firm. No big deal, though, as we slept soundly and comfortably at La Locanda.

What a terrific hotel! Everyone was warm and welcoming and they upgraded us to a magnificent suite…so roomy, clean and quiet. Breakfast was lovely with continental offerings plus eggs done your way. Freshly baked croissants, buns, with breads available for toasting. We walked to everything and the place was magical at night.

Très bel hotel avec un service d'une qualité irréprochable. Pas pour tout le monde de très nombreuses marches et pas d'ascenseur notamment entre le parking et la réception.

The place is in a beautiful little town overseeing much appreciated estatua del redentor de maratea. Between 10-15 minute drive to the near beaches.
