We stay here every time we visit this area. Always quiet, comfortable, clean and friendly.

Nice hotel, short and sweet

My card didn't work the 2nd night, after a long day of mining I was exhausted. Wasn't into going back downstairs! They fixed it right away.

Kayla at the front desk warm and friendly greeting She provided top notch customer service. Whle maintaining an immaculate Dining area an making sure breakfast area was well stocked. She would be an excellent manager takes pride in her job.

Very accessible to shopping area down the street.

The rooms were updated so they were very nice despite the fact it was an older hotel. There were plenty of plugs for the two of us and we got a good night sleep! The shower was plenty hot and the most wonderful perk was the shower pressure! I have long hair and it didn't take long to rinse it out. The ONLY complaint I had about the hotel is when we got in about 11:30 pm and were ready to go to sleep! When we entered the room, the A/C was not on and the room was warm. It would be nice if the A/C were left on and set high or turned on since we had a reservation and they knew we were coming. The other thing was when we checked in, the front desk clerk had a mask on which made it very hard to hear and understand her. Not opposed to her wearing the mask, just was frustrating that we couldn't hear or understand her so kept having to ask her to repeat.

Clean and comfortable

Property was easy to find and looked like a good place to stay.

In our view, it appeared to be the best hotel in the area. Maybe not. Hotel room was small, but was comfortable and clean, and location was good in Johnstown, NY. Odor on the first afternoon was pretty bad on the 2nd floor hallway, but not in the room fortunately. Hotel staff sprayed air freshner but that only partially hid the odor. Breakfast was good, coffee was too strong, juice machine was not good the first day and out of order the second. Had to ask for spoons one day, no complimentary water, and the ice machines on 1st and 2nd floors were out of order. Staff were very busy but seemed to be nice enough and accomdating.

Everything was fine until I got up during the night. I am a 'night person'. The bathroom had small black bugs crawling around. I got rid of several but there were more when I went back again. Not a good feeling to have them there.

The place was clean, close to things, lots of parking, friendly staff. The shower was excellent, very good water pressure and nice even flow. The key card works every time, some hotels or motels I’ve stayed at, it’s hit or miss whether it works or not. I would stay here again although the price was on the high side. Breakfast was included although it was all carbs on the offering, no bacon and eggs. I opted out and went looking for a Denny’s, found one in Schenectady.

It was great for a one night stay. Room was clean and everything worked, very satisfied.

Our first time staying at a Microtel. It was really nice,with only one thing that needed addressing. The sink faucet needed to be worked on.
