Staff was great

Arrived an hour after check in time, but our room still wasn’t ready. Staff was very friendly during check in. Phone got stuck on the nightstand because someone had spilled coffee on it prior, but the cleaning staff had missed this. It poured all over the front of the nightstand and also inside the top drawer. Had to ask the front desk for some more hand towels to clean it up as our sani wipes did not work on it at all. One of the beds had long brown stain on it as well, which was probably from the coffee we hope. Continental breakfast was simple with your basic offerings of eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and coffee. Parking was very easy as there were plenty of spaces available. Location was great as there was plenty of shopping and food options available all around. An okay lodge in our opinion for the price range.

Great place to stay, kind staff, no complaints, except the lodge could use more towels or more staff to clean the towels as they were always out when I asked. An update on pillows and mattresses would also be a plus.

I have enjoyed staying here several times in the last 6 months, definitely on my top 3 list of places to stay.

Location was so great! You can walk to a lot of restaurants and there's an excellent farmers market on Fridays across the street. The hotel itself is really clean, quiet, and charming. Nice breakfast available each morning. The pool is nice, hot tub available, fitness room is there too. Freeway is easy on and off too. I'd definitely come back!! Highly recommend ❤️

Laguna Hills Lodge is our annual choice for our anniversary getaway to Laguna Beach.

We liked everytthing including the pool.

There were some notable things about this stay. It was definitely not a 9.0 as mentioned by Hotels review. It was farther from the ocean than was stated. The room was not as clean as we prefer. It was minimally acceptable. The toilet had some gross buildup behind the seat, the bathroom floor need serious attention. There was dust on the sides of furniture that needed attention. On the upside, the bed was very comfortable and clean.

The Laguna Hills Lodge is a very pleasant place to stay giving value for your dollar. They have a clean facility with a nice breakfast, nice pool, jacuzzi and fitness room-I used them all. Funny thing the more expensive deluxe rooms with large balconies sit ajacent to the designated smoking area so you'll smell weed and cigarette smoke at times while relaxing on your balcony. Also the Lodge is next to very busy streets with much traffic noise and sirens at times so the more inset rooms are quitier than the street lined units. Our AC unit was B.O. but since the outside temperature was not too warm we were alright. We'll likely be back because it's hard to find a place of this quality and price in this area.

A really nice hotel close to shops and eating establishments. The City of Laguna Beach is very pretty. I stayed only one night in order to attend the Festival of Arts. The breakfast offered was sufficient to start your day.
