Breakfast was so good, room was clean

Great experience and perfect location

Hotel Accademia is right in the middle of all the main things most people come to see in Florence. The Duomo, Galleria, Medici Palace are all within minutes walking distance. Big bonus being only 5-10 mins from Firenze SMN as well. My favourite part of my stay would be the breakfast. It was like getting a home cooked breakfast every day with delicious tarts, pies, and croissants. €3.50 Aperols are not far either if you’re looking for affordable beverages close by. Would recommend! Note there are no elevators so pack light and be prepared to carry your bag up a couple flights of stairs.

Fint lille hotel meget centralt i forhold til seværdigheder, men der er meget larm i gaden. Det høres heldigvis kun svagt på værelset, men til gengæld kan man hører alle, som passere på gangen. God morgenmad. - der er mange trapper og ingen elevator.

The gentleman that received us on our arrival was so helpful and approachable - he patiently answered all our questions which we had quite a few of. :-) Breakfast was wonderful, the room was very clean (!) and the hotel was just a few meters away from the Florence Duomo and some amazing restaurants and shops.

Location is excellent. Very close to the train station and all sightseeing. The room'size size is adequate. The staff is very nice and helpful. Air conditioning is working great!

Great location, only a few minutes walk from both the Duomo and Santa Maria Novela train station. Simple continental breakfast but does the job. Staff were attentive and helpful. The room was nice for us as day travelers. If you’re doing a short trip to Florence, I would highly recommend this hotel. Also fantastic restaurant just next door with very good wait staff and DELICIOUS food

The hotel was centrally situated just a 2 minute walk from the cathedral and baptistery. It is perfectly located for restaurants, bars and shops aswell as all of the lovely attractions close by. The hotel staff were very helpful and spoke many languages fluently and were knowledgeable about where to visit first etc regarding queuing. The room itself was very clean and well maintained and a decent size for a city centre hotel. It came with all amenities such as shampoo and soap and a mini bar in the room. We were given a room at the back which was lovely and quiet as the hotel is on street full of restaurants and bars. The hotel also has a luggage storage room so you don’t have to carry your bags around on the last day of your visit. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again when we come back to Florence next year.

Great location! Clean and helpful staff.

It's a good option if you would like to be in the heart of Florence! Same street is packed with restaurants, gelato place, shops, etc. The hotel is in close proximity to main attractions, big plus as driving and parking is not quite an option. The hotel has no parking, however they have an agreement with a garage 2 minutes away from the hotel.

Perfect location, super friendly staff especially after coming from Rome. Had an amazing Florentine steak dinner and Negroni’s based off of recommendation from Staff. Would 100% stay here again.

Extremely convenient location from train station and walking distance to everything we needed including Duomo and Mercado Centrale and leather markets. Lots of Restaurant and gelato options. Rain forest shower didn’t work in our room but the handheld worked fine. Air conditioning is a must and ours worked very well! Breakfast was good, must make reservation since only 7 tables for the 18 rooms. Biggest negative was NO elevator so must lug your luggage up a pretty long flight of stairs when you enter building.

Det var svært behagelig med aircondition på rommet. På grunn av begrenset kapasitet i frokostområdet måtte gjestene velge tidspunkt for frokost på forhånd. Dette fungerte greit, men var noe upraktisk for oss som foretrekker å bestemme frokosttidspunkt samme morgen. Ytterdøren var låst om natten, men personalet var svært imøtekommende og åpnet for oss da vi ønsket å gå en morgentur klokken 05.30. Vi måtte imidlertid oppgi tidspunkt for når vi forventet å være tilbake, slik at de kunne låse opp døren igjen. Dette reduserte noe av fleksibiliteten, da vi måtte tilpasse gåturen til et forhåndsavtalt tidspunkt fremfor å kunne være spontane.
