When we got there , only take 3 minutes for check in process..the staff were very helpful and nice. We travel with young children ...and they really enjoy staying at this hotel...great space

Love this gem

A beautiful, historic building in a perfect location! Walking distance from the markets, Duomo, Uffizi, restaurants, etc. We had a large, lovely room with a terrace overlooking a historic church with a bell tower. Our quad room was perfect for my family of four. I wish we could stay longer, but we will return to the Hotel Alessandra!

We liked this hotel. The people at the reception were very friendly, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast was pretty nice. Coffee was from a machine, but the buffet was well stocked. The neighborhood is pleasant and safe.

This hotel is perfectly located for 3 nights in Florence. The room was a great size, bed very comfortable and large. The staff at the hotel is just as excellent as the location and provided very good recommendations on where to eat! Monti greeted us upon arrival and was an amazing host. We will definitely be back!

Hotel was clean, convenient location, easily walkable to main attractions. Staff was excellent! Monti at front desk was especially helpful giving us tips for getting around and having fun in Florence. Breakfast was best we had in Italy!

This is a very special hotel. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. I was traveling solo and they made sure that I was taken care of at all times. They always remembering who I was without me saying anything. My room was small but perfect for just me. It was clean and had everything. The location could not have been better. You are in the middle of all the things so no matter where you are heading it is an easy walk. I would stay here again when traveling back to Florence.

Hotellet ligger i en gammal byggnad med begränsad utsikt, men det finns en liten veranda mot floden som är perfekt att nyttja till morgonkaffet eller ett glas när man vilar fötterna.

Location was great, easy to walk to major sites! We walked to/from the train station, not super close, but not a bad 15 min walk. Our room was wonderful and the staff was top notch. Clean room with a great view of the river. There is a small private terrace on the top floor available for use at any time. Breakfast was delicious. A warning though: there are about 30 steps from the street to an elevator/lift as the reception desk and rooms are 2-3 floors above street level.

This is a beautiful location, very historic and full of character, and very close to Ponte Vecchio. My only complaint would be that the bed was a bit too small for two full grown adults.

Really hard work going up the stairs but that is normal for Florence. Same applies to parking and finding the hotel. That said the location can’t be beat and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was awesome and the stay worked out well. Parking was difficult and expensive but welcome to Florence!

Hotel situated in a perfect location convenient walking distance to most attractions. Staff accommodating, helpful and delightful. Room big, quiet, clean and comfortable with newly renovated bathroom. Only difficulty is stairs in this building built in 1507!!

Staff and owner were super nice and made us feel like family. Hotel was super unique and gave us a true italian feel. Location was perfect. Lift starts up a few steps, so can be hard if carrying heavy luggage. This was our situation, but quickly staff and everything about this beautiful place, relieved our frustration. I want to go back!!
