If you’re accustomed to spacious American style hotels, you’ll need to adjust your expectations. If you want to experience an old-style Parisian hotel and one that doesn’t break the bank, this hotel would be a decent choice. It is due for a refresh. But I found my room to be more than adequate. It was clean, a decent bed and good water pressure in the shower. It was quiet even though it is on a major street. The staff was very personable and professional. The location is super convenient as it’s just steps away from the Place de la République, the metro and several bus routes.

Great location, close to the metro. The room we had didn’t have air conditioning, not even a fan. It was extremely hot and made us feel uncomfortable. Cleanliness was at a decent level.

Pros: Fabulous location with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Close to two metro stops. Employees were great, very friendly and helpful. We encountered no problems while we were there and were always greeted after being out. Clean: Everything was clean. Beds were decently comfortable. This is a pay for what you get kind of place. The room, hallway, staircase are small, especially for 3 large Americans, but everything was comfortable. No frills, but no concerns either. Exactly what we were looking for! Things to consider: no AC. We were there when it was decently hot. When the window was open, the breeze was very nice at cooling things off, but then it was noisy on the street side. Noise: All of us slept fine, but the noise level in our room with the window open was loud. Normal traffic/siren/people noises. If you are a light sleeper, this might bother you, but then you should probably look for a place not so near the center of the city. Would absolutely stay here again!

Service very good, location excelent, very poor rooms for money, no air conditioning, noisy all the day and night, too much police cars circulating with the signals on, day and night.

This is a One star property. Go to the hotel website and check it out, these reviews make it seem better than it is.

Toilet seat too small. Has to ask for the heat to be turned on almost every night. No shower capacity, so had to take bathes and I have a mobolity issue, so the up and down was hard. They ignored my ask to not enter to clean the room. Towels not clean. Floor not swept. If you like the feeling of camping, it will be good for you.

Je tenais à vous informer que l’ascenseur ne fonctionnait pas durant tout le séjour. Malheureusement pour les personnes un peu âgées, ce n’était pas évident de monter et descendre six étages…. Au final, la vie n’est pas forcément favorable. Pouvez-vous nous faire un geste commercial, car cela n’a pas été très bien communiqué par l’établissement à notre arrivée. Hôtel simple mais super bien situé ( république, métro, ect) et un accueil agréable par le monsieur Mais Parcontre les dames de ménages le dimanches matins à 8h30 qui font un bruit insupportable en faisant les chambres ( aspirateur qui tape dans les portes, les échanges verbales) Alors que les chambres peuvent être rendu jusqu’à 11h !!!

Bien situé à proximité du quartier République, petit hôtel qui pourrait être charmant, l'accueil est sympathique et convivial, et l'architecture vaut le détour. Mais les parties communes ne sont pas très propres, l'ascenseur ne fonctionne pas et il y a 6 étages, heureusement nous étions au 1er...mais au ras de l'escalier, le manque d'isolation acoustique nous a fait vivre tous les passages. Nous avons pu compter les métros tellement ils raisonnaient dans la structure du bâtiment. Il ne faut pas oublier non plus de réserver son petit déjeuner la veille au soir, sinon vous devez aller au bistrot du coin de la place.... Nous n'y retournerons pas!

A notre arrivée, cheveux sur les draps, traversin sans sa housse et pas d'oreillet. Malgré un changement de chambre après réclamation, la seconde n'était pas beaucoup plus propre. Les cheveux étaient cette fois-ci un peu partout dans la salle de bain. A cote du lavabo, une prise sans protection. La propreté générale de la chambre laisse fortement à désirer. Passez votre chemin !

Was here several night. It is located between to Metro stops, with easy access to get around Paris. The room is small, the internet kept cutting out. No good place to sit and rest. I was Lucky enough to get a balcony, so that was nice.

This is a one star hotel. Good price for Paris but distinctly average

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Bon échange avec le personnel. Les petits déjeuners dans les hôtels à Paris sont assez chers, n'hésitez pas à les prendre à l'extérieur . Cet hôtel est très bien placé, métro juste à côté

Billigt rum i ett trevligt område. Rummet var inte särskilt städat, det fanns en otrevlig lukt och sängen var riktigt gammal och välanvänd. Lite dyrt för skicket, men helt ok trots allt. Åk inte med någon som är lite känslig så kan jag nästan rekommendera det.

The view from my room was beautiful out the balcony. The shower was ridiculously small and inconvenient, the elevator was so small for a person over 150lbs, the staff was wonderful. I had a great time primarily because of the location and the balcony. If i was on an inner room i wouldn't have stayed longer than a night. I was lucky to have a street view and balcony! Staff was great! The walls are so thin i could talk to my neighbors which was embarrassing.

Séjour pour le travail pour 2 nuits. L’ensemble est correcte mais voici mes suggestions : - L’état des couloirs d’étages nécessiteraient une rénovation des sol qui doivent être très difficile à nettoyer par les agents d’entretIen. - en chambre, j’ai eu un lot confortable mais muni d’un seul traversin. Je préfère avoir des oreillers. Il serait intéressant de proposer les oreillers à l’accueil (faire une note affichée dans la chambre pour les proposer en cas de besoin) - en salle de bain : propre mais commence à présenter des signe de vétusté. - accueil : très correct, le personnel est agréable L’ensemble est correcte mais pour le prix, j’ai déjà eu mieux dans Paris

Property is clean. Staff is professional and friendly. I have stayed there on three different occasions and will again!
