The hotel is charming and staff is wonderful!

I spent one night in the single room at this hotel. It's an easy walk from the train station. The building is exquisitely beautiful. The room, while small, was perfect for one, and completely quiet for a great sleep. You can walk to anything in Florence from this location. Giulia at the front desk was the most welcoming person, and kind. I will definitely stay again if I return to Florence.

Conveniently located, clean, and comfortable. Also, the staff were all very kind and helpful. I would stay here again if I ever visited Florence in the future.

The single room was as advertised: small, clean, air conditioned, and very reasonably priced for the area. The location was in the heart of the city center a short walk to everywhere. The BEST thing about this place by far is Mario who checked this poor American in and answered many questions. He is knowledgeable of the area and the history of the hotel. He will invite you for American coffee and is a true gem of a human being.

Enjoyed my stay at Hotel Burchianti. Close to train station, Duomo and other sites in Florence. Felt safe walking at night. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful with information. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is well located near the main Florence attractions- the staff is friendly and could not have been more helpful. I would recommend!

When you pay $325 for one night, you're pretty surprised that your towel is ripped along one edge. At home I'd find something like that in the rag bin. In general the room was clean, but the shower base had been neglected over the years and was rusty/grimey. The furniture is on the cheap side, with chairs that are not high enough for the table. Check-in is at 14:00, but I couldn’t get in until 15:05. So the hotel appears to be understaffed. (The capable young woman who was at the front desk at 14:00 was there preparing and serving breakfast--in the lobby--at 8:00 while having to break now and then to check out departing guests. But if ceiling frescos are important to you, perhaps the other stuff won't bother you.

This is a great hotel in the old palazzo with history and character. Everything was great except you could hear everything that was happening in the next room. No sound isolation whatsoever. The service, location, and rooms were excellent.

Cute boutique hotel in walking distance to Firenze train station. Friendly staff and clean, spacious rooms. Only (tiny!) issue I had was that turning off the lights in the room turned off the main power which prevent overnight phone charging.

Great place for solo travelers, close to the duomo and super walkable around the whole city. I stayed here during my solo travel around Italy and really enjoyed my stay.

We had a very large room which was very nice for a family of 4. The lady at the front desk was very competent and professional and gave us lots of tips on where to go.

Great location and amazing frescoes in our room. Good breakfast and good for families.
