Our room was clean but the air conditioning worked poorly. Claimed that they would fix. Now to the positives: the pool is great, the restaurant is good, and the distance town center is reasonable. However, the front area is rocky with a bunch of trashed mattresses. Not the most beautiful site.

Large room was clean and well appointed, WiFi was pretty good/fast. Location is not the most attractive but it is within walking distance of most points of interest and plenty of good places to eat. We appreciated the view of the city wall!

O hotel é grande e bem localizado, o café da manhã excelente, o espaço verde ao fundo, junto à muralha é reconfortante. Em contrapartida, a ausência de estacionamento é problemática (dei sorte de chegar no fim de semana, quando é possível estacionar sem custos na rua) e a estrutura do hotel está um pouco datada, mas nada que incomode.

Everything was perfect

Clean room, but the website photos do not accurately depict the hotel's age, poor condition, and general unattractiveness. Staff were unhelpful and unfriendly, and the Wi-Fi kept dropping, so we had to use our own data. Shower pressure was good, but the tub didn’t drain, and water leaked onto the bathroom floor.

The front desk staff (young man, forgetting his name) and Mr. Bond (the bartender) did an excellent job of welcoming us on the property. The rooms were spacious and overlooked the gardens. We enjoyed the view and the nice rooms. One discomfort we did face was the heating in the room and opening the balcony doors definitely helped but the morning outside noise did disturb us. Usually the nature sounds would be appealing, but after long day of walking and needing to rest and sleep in on vacation was compromised a bit. Overall, we left with a memorable stay. The area around the hotel itself is blah but the location is good as we can walk to the main square within minutes. Good restaurants and cafes in the main square.

Great location inside the town wall. Quiet at night.Has parking beneath the building for an additional fee. Clean rooms, well appointed, great breakfast. Short walk to town attractions. The hotel property around the pool and interior courtyard is well maintained. In front of the hotel is a poorly maintained green area, likely the towns responsibility, with piles of rubble and occasional trash. We received a late checkout upon request. I would be happy to return.

Nous sommes arrivés il nous a été proposé une chambre qui était gelée. Le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas il était en marche mais froid. Je l’ai signalé à la réception. Celui-ci est arrivé 20 minutes après avec un petit radiateur portable et là j’ai exigé de changer de chambre, une seconde chambre sensiblement plus chaude, l’eau de la salle de bain n’était pas chaude non plus. Bref c’est problématique.
