Convenient central location, lovely bathroom, comfortable bed, wonderful breakfast (we arrived a few minutes before breakfast was over and they fully accommodated us, held the buffet open - so kind!!)

The location is excellent. Friendly staff. Only 15 minutes from airport. You can get a great view of the port and fortress. The buffet breakfast may be the best we have seen in the U.S. or Europe. We highly recommend a local restaurant (Veneto) that is just two blocks up from the side entrance on the right hand side. Great food, excellent prices, and outstanding views. Also recommend the history museum. Great summary of island’s history, including involvement in WW II.

The food choices were extensive, something for everyone. The staff from the breakfast to upstairs bar to cleaning services were excellent. Everyone was warm & welcoming, plus always wanting to hear what you got to see while visiting their island. The hotel was Extremely clean, the floors sparkled. The hotel is striking in size and decor. The only 2 things they could improve for a 5 star, the spa needs music, lighting and a menu of options. And if you are going to have a balcony, a chair or 2 would be nice to sit outside so you can enjoy the view

Wonderful vintage hotel with a modern high standard of renovation, in great location overlooking the historic harbour. Spacious well designed rooms and helpful staff.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Staff super friendly, welcoming, helpful, and polite. Breakfast was very good. If I had one suggestion, it would be to reduce the amount of desserts and sweets offered and replace with more hot food options such as waffles/pancakes, omelets to order etc. however, this was low season so I guess there is a concern about wastage

The gym was a disappointment as it was by reservation only with a $30 charge per person. This did not work for us.

Staff was very helpful. They called to ask if we would need a taxi the next day when we were leaving. Taxi service was supposed to be striking that day. We had a rental car so Taxi was not needed.

Our room was spotless and was cleaned daily by efficient & polite staff. The entire staff were very professional and very easy to deal with. The morning breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices. We stayed there for three nights and enjoyed our stay very much.

This is a 5 star hotel with really nice decorations. Everything is perfect: breakfast is fantastic, staffs are super friendly; location is great, walkable to all favorite places.

Ausstattung des Zimmers war i.O. bis auf den unbequemen Einstieg in die Duschbadewanne. Sauberkeit (Fußboden) könnte etwas besser sein. Frühstück top. Personal besonders an der Rezeption sehr freundlich. Gastronomisches Angebot ausserhalb des Frühstücks ausbaufähig.

Slightly aged building and amenities, still great, friendly stuff, clean, everything worked well. Amazing Terrace on the 5th floor with a great view to the harbor, especially in the morning for sunset. They offer turndown service. The room on the first floor was a bit noisy during the Saturday night traffic. Can recommend also in Winter, great value for price.

This is an absolute gem of a boutique hotel. Katarina and her so, Kinstantinos, are the very gracious owners of this gorgeous property in the heart of Rethymno. All the ancient and amazing sites are within walking distance, as well as wonderful dining and shopping options. The only downside is the parking situation, challenging in Rethymno, to say the least. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.

Magnificent hotel with an excellent service and breakfast! Our room was great! The Sauna service was an extra plus for us! We truly enjoyed our stay! Highly recommended
