Hotel and staff were excellent enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was not worth the $20 a person. Had better breakfast outside of hotel for less.

Terrible and disappointing outcome when contacting the hotel. I had my belongings stolen which included my passport and unable to make my reservation due to not being able to travel and waiting for help from my embassy. The hotel was not empathetic or cared and refused to allow a refund or change of dates!!! Very disappointed when this hotel was referred to me!!! With attitude like that I would definitely suggest any other hotel!!!

We really enjoyed the breakfast every morning, it was much more than what “continental” gives you in the US. The location was perfect, in the heart of the Gothic district and close to the port.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Loved Our Stay! This hotel was the perfect home base for our trip! The location was incredible—within walking distance of so many shops, restaurants, bars, and attractions. We barely needed transportation because everything was right outside the door. The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, always happy to answer questions or offer recommendations that made our visit even better. We also loved having the pool available after long days of sightseeing. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge before heading back out to enjoy the city. Between the fantastic location, great amenities, and exceptional service, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We had such a wonderful experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. If you’re looking for a hotel that’s comfortable, convenient, and surrounded by everything you want to see and do, this is it! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

I stayed here for the F1 race in Barcelona and the hotel was conveniently located to both the city sites and shops and near local transportation. It was quiet at night for being in the Gothic quarter, very clean, great air conditioning to come back to after very hot days, friendly staff and well priced. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Good location but room very cold and temperature can not be controlled by guests

We stayed at this location while in Barcelona this June and it was a great location in the middle of everything close walk to all shops restaurants the bus and the metro really enjoyed the room was happy. They had luggage storage air-conditioning Wi-Fi all included. They had a nice pool on rooftop and were very accommodating assisted with reserving taxis for airport. I travel and we’re very accommodating assisted with reserving taxis for airport. I traveled with my adult kids, my sister-in-law, my husband, it was a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. Well kept property.

Great location in the Gothic Quarter. Short walk to La Rambla. This was our second stay at Catalonia Avinyo, and it was good for us both times.
