Staff very friendly.

This was a beautiful property with extremely kind and friendly people working there! Great service and you are treated like family. The pool was a nice perk and the grounds were excellent with many places to sit and relax. Would not hesitate to return!

A beautiful, tranquil place to stay. We had a fantastic breakfast in the garden. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We absolutely loved our stay there.

Breakfast servers stingy even with the minimal “buffet” offerings; they are also condescending and rude (for example, staff starting arguing with me that a clearly rotten peach they gave me was not rotten- all I wanted was a different peach. We left hungry each morning as it was literally easier to go somewhere else to get more food than to get staff to give sufficient helpings). Water on the premises is not potable. Hot water inadequate for more than a 5 minute shower. Toilet inadequately maintained (made nausea-inducing, very loud screeching noise for about 30 seconds after each flush). Room dirty (cockroaches, etc). Frequent electricity brownouts during our stay.

Camera spaziosa ma letto scomodo e pulizia appena sufficiente. Sala colazione molto bella con giardino. Colazione ottima. Bella atmosfera e personale gentile. Ottimo il parcheggio.

Zeer goede ontvangst door de manager/eigenaar. Dierenliefhebbers op en top! Fijne check-in gehad op de locatie en er werd meegelopen naar onze kamer. Die was voorzien van zeer comfortabele bedden, we hebben enorm goed geslapen. De accommodatie is erg landelijk gelegen, overal is de natuur om je heen. Direct naast de deur ligt een mooie wandelroute en op 15 minuten met de auto ben je in de stad. In de winter kunnen de kamers wel wat koud aan doen, maar er staan fijne kachels klaar om alles goed warm te houden. Ontbijten is ook een feest in een gezellige ruimte met open haard en heerlijke banken! Wij hebben genoten!

Très belle résidence au milieu de la nature en pleine ville de Siracusa. Magnifiques jardins, personnel très accueillants gentils et au service. Petit déjeuner complet. Tout était parfait.

L'espace mis à disposition près de la réception est un endroit très paisible... Le lieu est charmant et serein.

Lieu très agréable, en pleine campagne. Le cadre est très bien fleuri. La chambre est propre, très calme, la literie confortable. Bon petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet. Attention, pour y arriver, il faut un GPS, sinon c’est difficile à trouver.

C'est notre 3ème séjour à la villa Dei Papiri. Dès notre arrivée le charme s'opère. Végétation luxuriante, très belle prestation avec en prime, cette année, une soirée musicale avec un apéritif dînatoire dans la salle "musée" du petit déjeuner. Personnel à l'écoute, très sympathique. Hébergement incontournable pour un séjour à Syracuse !

We had a mixed experience; the garden, the people, the space in our room were all wonderful. We loved sitting out in the morning and evening in this delightful space. We thought breakfast was expensive (7 euros) and should have been included. Getting to it along badly signed and poor tracks is not simple. It is also a fault of sat navs which confuse poor tracks for proper roads. The bed in our large room was very firm and uncomfortable for me.

La location è molto carina. La stanza assegnataci non era chissà, odorava di muffa e l'acqua calda si faceva desiderare. Il box doccia faceva acqua da tutte le parti e i suoi accessori erano al quanto vetusti. Per finire la colazione era al quanto scarsa.

Il posto è molto bello esteticamente, ma senza ristorante, piscina, televisione funzionante, sei obbligato ad andare in città, che dista comunque 7-8 km ed è disperso nelle campagne. Consigliato per we romantico e "statico" nella struttura.
