Our home away from home when we are in Montreal our stay at the Auberge Bonne Matin is like staying with family ; warmth charm true hospitality we look forward to our annual stay ! Unique property. Breakfast on site was great, friendly staff. Room was spacious with balcony. Easy check in/check out. Steps away from the Metro station was a plus. Be aware that if you me room is on the top floor it is three flights of stairs.

I was somehow given a Suite rather than a simple room, which at first I thought was really nice. However, the bedsheets had significant stains on them. There was also residue of a big, dead bug on the wall. And, I saw a cockroach crawl under the couch when I opened the lights the morning after my night in. If I had seen it sooner, I definitely would not have slept there. Otherwise, the staff was very nice and the A/C in the room was great.

Front desk closed early for some reason, but check in instructions were clear. Breakfast staff was wonderful, attentive and friendly. Most annoying issue was I had left an item in my room and called the front desk but got no answer so I left a message. After a few hours I tried calling again with no answer.so we stopped by anout 2pm. The lobby door was locked and no one at the front desk. We finally got the maintenance lerson's attention who helled me get my item. She said front desk should have been open and should have answered and returned my call. Other than that, it was a quaint hotel in a convenient location to the Metro and shops/restaurants. Would highly recommend if they got a new front desk clerk.

Lovely room with a jacuzzi tub that felt wonderful after walking all day.

Bathrooms a bit dated. Basement room ( well appointed) hard to carry large suitcases up and down stairs. Very convenient to metro.

Chambre propre et personnel accueillant!

The little inn is a gem. Historic property restored with eclectic paintings and antique furniture. Super comfortable beds. Be sure to include the breakfast($16 can or about $10 usd). We stay here over and over again.

Very cute & charming place to stay.

We've been here many times and will continue to come back. The building and rooms have lots of character, the staff are very friendly and the location is very convenient being only steps away from the Lucien-L'Allier metro station.

This property was very convenient for getting around Montreal, you’re right downtown and literally across the street from the Meteo Station at the Bell Centre. There was a very well stocked help yourself I coffee and teas right as you enter the building to get to the bedrooms. The only negative I have is I could smell dust burning so I wiped the light bulbs in the lamps and the smell went away.

Loved this unique hotel and the proximity to the metro could not be beat! But you have to be able to manage the stairs!

The bath room too small barely could move , room okey for single person not 2 .

This Auberge is well situated in a quiet neighborhood on a tree-lined street. It’s less than block away from a Metro station as well as a 20-25 minute walk into the old section of the city. The Auberge is a combination of several adjacent older brick buildings converted into its’ current configuration. There is limited parking available behind the property (for a daily fee). It offers a ‘homemade’ daily breakfast (for a fee, not included in the price of the room as one might expect) and the staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were assigned Suite 502, which is quite large, occupies an entire lower level similar to a garden apartment. While generally comfortable, we found it always feeling a bit damp and the floor then always a bit sticky making noice as you walked around. The room had a dehumidifier, but it didn’t work. We were promised a replacement, but it never happened (very disappointing). Lastly, there is a huge whirlpool tub in the living area which we found very strange, as the Suite had a very small bathroom.
