Beautiful entrance and bar area however room very dated and old. Painted furniture had lots of scuff and scrape marks no telephone to call reception or order room service, no refrigerator. Pool was closed when we arrived (16.00). Gym very minimal.

Attended a wedding locally. Lovely clean hotel. Staff were very good. Unable to use the pool due to swimming lessons, were told we could only use it after 12.30pm, but we were checking out at 11am.

Room spacious and clean and good access to gardens, staff very friendly and helpful restaurant excellent food and service.

I love this hotel and I'm sad not to be able to give it 5 stars but it's sadly suffering from neglect. I know times are hard for hospitality but it could be so much nicer with a few changes. For instance why have a cupboard obviously meant for a fridge but not have a fridge? Why have fake grass on the balcony which gets full of water and very unpleasant to walk on? Why not have a nice set of furniture on the balcony? we had one chair no table. Our kettle didn't work, the plughole in the bathroom had no guard so a risk of losing your rings down it. There was no maid service we had to make our own bed. The towel rail didn't get hot so we had wet towels. We used the pool this time, no privacy in the ladies changing rooms unless you get changed in a wet shower or in the toilet and the pool area is more functional than luxurious. This all sounds terrible doesn't it? But I still love this hotel. It's not expensive to stay, the rooms are massive, the bathrooms are nice, the restaurant is beautiful and the staff are lovely. Please people in charge just put a bit of effort in to make it perfect.

Very dated with chipped paint in room, uncomfortable bed. No plugs near bed, no tissues in room. The checkin area looked good- it deteriorated as soon as you went up to the 2nd floor! Swimming pool closed after 4pm so no use to people working

I arrived Kate after a wedding party so I didn't have time to adequately review the property and it's amenities, however the room was large and warm, the bed was comfortable. It was a little outdated in terms of decor but overall the stay was pleasant.

The room and hotel was really good i would definitely go here again. The only negative is that i received an email 6 days prior to my stay stating the leisure facilities were unavailable. Thus, i did not pack any attire for the pool to then be told when i arrived that it was back open. This was frustrating and i hope they improve their communications. Apart from this, great place to stay.

I stayed here the night before my wedding with my 2 friends in a suite room, everything about it was fabulous! The food and service in the restaurant was top level, the room was clean, tidy and spacious, we had a fabulous stay!

The room was large but needed some modernisation. The staff in general were friendly and helpful

Hotel looks good from the outside, Some rooms have be re decorated, I got 112 which was not, very dated and 1970. Restaurant artisan is nice, I just got a rude waiter, so had a takeaway the second night, as didn’t want to go through the pain again. Didn’t use the pool, as locals use it and gets busy. Didn’t have breakfast as work early. Good size car park, need more EV chargers as all taken on arrival, and still took in the morning.

Easy check in. Beautiful room and excellent evening meal. Bed so comfy we didn’t make breakfast. 2nd visit and sure to return for a third

The room was disgusting, mould all over the shower ceiling. Bath was dirty black spots of dirt and grime. Food was terrible. Chicken/chorizo rigatoni bland and tasteless.

Stated 2pm check in. Tried to check in and couldn't till around 3pm. Room was quite dirty in places. Furniture as tacky, bits missing, carpet bubbled. Look like room had a cheap makeover. Bathroom and shower dirty, floor grout dirty and shower cubicle had mould all over. Lots of dust in areas where it should be cleaned
