This was our fourth stay at Pharae Palace Hotel. We have chosen this hotel again and again because it is in a great location, the rooms are spacious, and it offers convenient parking. This time, however, we were disappointed. There was a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom throughout our stay. We reported it to the reception, and the housekeeping staff tried several times to fix the problem, but the smell always came back after a short time. It was so strong that it could also be smelled in the room throughout our stay. Another issue was the air conditioner, which was very noisy. Because of the traffic noise outside, we had to keep the balcony door closed, especially because of the smell from the bathroom, so we had no choice but to use the air conditioner despite the noise. We have never experienced these problems during our previous stays, so we hope this room was just an exception and that the hotel will take the necessary steps to solve these issues. Finally, we would like to compliment the kitchen staff. At breakfast, they made sure that the food was always well prepared and nicely presented.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is very good. The location is very convenient.

Great centrally located on the seafront, hotel. Our second visit. Close to shops/restaurants/Cafes. Has its own private beach with free towels, sunbeds and umbrellas. Ask at reception for towels. Very clean hotel. Lovely cleaning lady on 2nd floor. Very friendly, and helpful lady on reception desk. Breakfast is great. All sorts of things to tempt your taste buds. No complaints. I have travelled for the last 35 years for business and pleasure. I have stayed at many different type of hotels with various ratings. This was our 2nd stay in 24 months at the Pharae Hotel and the staff is excellent, regardless if you speak Greek or English. The room and the hotel were very clean. The location is perfect. ✅ Both our stays were amazing and it felt like home away from home. I will be staying there again on my next visit to Kalamata. The costing is very reasonable and I highly recommend this hotel. Congrats to management and the staff for the excellent service that they provide…. 💯👏👏👏

L'hôtel est bien placé près de la mer mais pas au premier rang et il a assez pied malheureusement une artère très passante et très animé le soir avec vomissement de moto et hurlement de personnes passablement éméchées, il est impossible de dormir la fenêtre ouverte. La literie est très bonne, mais la salle de bain pourrait être un peu plus grande étant donné le prix quand même assez élevé de la chambre.Le rooftop avec le petit-déjeuner est très agréable, avec une vue à 180° sur la baie et le buffet est copieux même si il pourrait être meilleur du côté des viennoiseries. Il est surprenant que la taxe qui est conséquente ne soit pas incluse dans un tarif déjà cher pour la région. Enfin nous avons trouvé regrettable qu'il nous soit facturé deux petites bouteilles d'eau qui étaient à notre disposition dans la chambre alors que dans tous les autres établissements que nous avons parcourus depuis 10 jours, cela a été gracieusement offert, ce qui est regrettable pour un établissement qui se prévaut d'être assez luxueux.

Excellent work

Perfect spot to explore kalamata. Right on the paralia and walking distance to lots of beach bars and food options. The hotel itself has a beautiful lobby and rooftop bar. And the rooms are solid. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely clean hotel in a good location. Good restaurant for an evening meal and for breakfast. Really pleasant stay.

Beautiful location on the waterfront, very helpful staff. Good breakfast choice.

The staff was exceptional in trying to accommodate guests. From the the reservations, check-in, restaurant and bar staff to the room maids, it was obvious that everyone went the "extra mile". Room designs were convenient and comfortable. The rooftop restaurant ( both indoor and outside offers a wonderful view and a generous breakfast. We've just completed our fourth extended stay, using the hotel as our base for exploring the region. We look forward to our next stay.

Awesome place

The staff were exceptional. Unfortunately I found the hotel to be very noisy. The staff helped me by upgrading our room and that as lovely however, I could hear other guests from this room also. Some rooms are need of renovation-especially the bathrooms. The restaurant upstairs was fabulous and the breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is as advertised. The view from the 5th floor restaurant is stunning. Breakfast was great with lots of options and the staff super friendly. The room was updated and we were on the 4th floor so our view to the water was amazing. i recommend this hotel.
