We had an amazing experience at Hotel Della Fortezza! The unique atmosphere and historic setting made our stay truly special. What really stood out to us was the hotel’s strong commitment to sustainability — from eco-friendly practices to their focus on local, organic products. We especially loved the delicious locally produced food, which gave us a real taste of the region. It’s clear that the hotel values quality and the environment in everything they do. Highly recommended — definitely worth a visit!

An absolutely amazing location, wonderful hosts and incredible food. Stunning views from the room, clean bathroom. Fantastic wine tour and tasting, very clear instructions regarding parking. The only thing we’d change is a fan or some air con though we fully appreciate that might not be possible due to the historic nature of the building. It was a little too warm for us at night and we were reluctant to leave the windows open as there was a gap in a mosquito screen. This may not be an issue for others who are more used to the heat! Thank you for a most wonderful stay. Provided the perfect base to visit the Tuff towns. We will recommend to friends and family.

This was a fantastic hotel. The service was impeccable. The dinner was amazing. The owners are amazing and love what they do. I am planning to come back and spend more time. I only regret that is was only for one night.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. I stayed here 5 years ago and was so impressed with this hotel that it was the highlight of my trip to Italy…this time it was not as good. Will not be returning.

We stayed here for our 20th anniversary. Our stay here was like a fairy tale, a dream, and trip back in time. Romantic atmosphere, beautiful room with a nice view, quiet, peaceful, magical, even the furniture was beautiful. This was the most unique and wonderful experience I have ever enjoyed! I recommend this to everyone!

Se você quer viver uma experiência diferente de tudo, pode confiar: se hospedar na Fortezza de Sorano é simplesmente incrível! É como dormir dentro de um castelo medieval, mas com cama boa, chuveiro quente e um café da manhã daqueles que a gente não esquece. O lugar tem uma vibe histórica surreal, cheio de charme e com uma vista que parece pintura. Dá vontade de ficar horas só olhando pela janela. E o melhor: a equipe é super simpática, faz você se sentir em casa desde o primeiro minuto. Não é só uma hospedagem, é uma experiência. Um cantinho especial no meio da Toscana que faz você querer voltar assim que vai embora. Sério, vale cada segundo.

Llegar al hotel de la Fortezza es como entrar a un cuento. No solo por el paisaje de los alrededores sino por cada detalle en el cuidado de cada cosa. El servicio de las chicas que atienden en la recepción es impecable, el servicio de desayuno es extraordinario y la comodidad de las habitaciones también es destacable. Sin lugar a dudas lo recomendamos y volveremos con el resto de nuestra familia para que ellos también vivan esta experiencia única e inolvidable en uno de los pocos lugares históricos del mundo que aún quedan habitables. No se lo pierdan!!
