Rating & Review Keseluruhan Tanes Hotel

Lovely manager who was very welcoming. Our room (no 7, a twin room on the third floor with en suite bathroom) was good value for money and very clean and quiet - we had a good night’s sleep. This hotel is only 1.8km from Cardiff City centre so it is well located if you want to go out for a meal or a drink.

This is the 2nd time ive stayed at the tans hotel,great place quite hotal it is in a main rd so there is cars but its fine i will be going again in September,its clean amd tidy, everywhere great see you in September

The room was large, clean and comfortable. It had tea and coffee making facilities which is always a must for me. The shower was really good. You are greeted on check in but then never see any staff again. During our stay breakfast was not being done which was a bit disappointing. On checking out we realised the hotel had been quite full but there was no noise disturbance. I would say this hotel is a good base for a couple of nights and reasonably priced.

The property is well kept and clean. The room was modern and good albeit quite small en-suite - but it was clean and everything worked as it should. The hotel itself is a 20 mins walk into the centre or their is a bus stop right outside with buses every 10 mins.

Good value stay near Cardiff City centre, plenty of Cafes and restaurants nearby, free off street parking. On main city centre bus route. No breakfast but Cafes nearby.

The room was lovely although not enough plug sockets , the corridors were out dated and needed an upgrade , not their fault but the car park and entrance to is was a nightmare

Lovely room. Very quiet. Comfy bed. Parking is down a bumpy, dark back alley into a tight, tiny car park. Very difficult to park.

The room looked clean, but the shower was blocked and unpleasant things floated out of the plug hole as I showered! I don't think I've ever slept so badly in a hotel unfortunately. There were people wandering about locking and unlocking doors, using the shared toilets and creaking floorboards all night. Someone got up at 5.30 and made huge amounts of noise. This was a mid-week stay, and we chose this hotel for the free parking. I'd caution against banking on this carpark in anything larger than our Rav4, as it was quite tight even for my car. So really the only thing we liked was the decor of the room and the free parking. I would not stay again (sorry). We used the Costa Coffee just along the road for breakfast.

The only good thing was the reasonable decor in the room. The tv kept randomly going on to screen saver depending on channel. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and could feel the bed springs. The knob for the radiator was broken off. The shower stopped running water whilst mid shower.

I like the cleanliness of the room. Parking is tight. No iron to use in the room, saying it was health and safety, rubbish. Where you go to iron smells horrible of smoke so never using again

Very friendly staff but we had a ground floor front of house bedroom on a main room which was fairly noisy

Location was fantastic 28 minute walk to the Millennium\Principality Stadium, 20 min walk to Queen street center of town. Tony was super friendly on arrival. 6am check out was seamless just leave your key on the desk. The bus stop is literally outside the door which is 8 mins or 3 stops into city center, also a great landmark for walking home. I will definitely stay again if i return to Cardiff.

Room was quite small, no toilet or shower. On the main road which was very busy all night. Bed was very comfy. TV didn't work properly
