Friendly Staff

Exceptionally clean. Airy. Spacious. Beds squeaky. Large Shower only warm. Could hear guest coughing all night so little sound proofing. Staff polite but workmen chatted outside my door at 9am to 9.15am keeping me awake!

Not to far from city centre, friendly staff and clean rooms

Issue with another guest parking, blocking all other guests in, asked manager to sort, and all he did was stick a polite note on the car window. I couldn’t get out of the hotel to visit Cardiff and Barry. I had to go to the end of the hall and loudly ask if anyone owned the car. Owner did move it, although they were offensive towards me and my daughter, manager did nothing to intervene. The room we had (Twin, no ensuite) was small, and the room had signs of mould on the wall above the wardrobe/door, and the tops of the surfaces were disgusting (dust/dirt). Only 1 x double socket on the floor, so kettle had to be placed on the carpet to boil. Would not recommend.

Great stay, really polite staff. Convenience shops nearby and bus stops right outside. Really pleased to have the option of decaf coffee, and soy or oat milk!

We enjoyed our stay in the clean, nicely decorated, affordable room very much. Can recommend the small hotel very much!

No breakfast . No bar it was nothing except accommodation. But would use again.

Great little hotel. Very clean , everything needed for single person in this case. They even provided a fan in the room without me having to ask on a hot night in Cardiff. Bus stop right outside, but not too far from the city centre. Recommended.

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff who created us. My only issue was the beds were a bit creaky and noisy.

Nice and helpful

We were visiting Cardiff and staying at the hotel for 2 nights. We were put in the annex where the internet did not work at all and the room had a persistent unpleasant odor. We didn't even have access to the main building and had to ring the bell and wait for someone to let us in if we needed to talk to the management. The shower in the bathroom didn't drain and when we informed the management, while they were apologetic and said they would get it fixed that day, the issue was not resolved. Instead they recommended we use the common bathroom on our floor which was not the cleanest and we had paid for a room with a functional private bathroom. Overall this was not a pleasant stay and I would not recommend this place.

Our room was amazing, with every amenity and very close to a variety of shops and the city centre

Il start with the bad bit.i waz travelling on my own & was very tired & hot i had booked this hotel because it said it had free parking. After driving around in circles for 20/30 mins i tried to ring hotel no answer i tried about 20 times by now i was so upset and wanted to go home.i found a place to park & walked to the hotel. The lady/owner was lovely explained how to get to carpark. SO my suggestion is for that to be on the booking forms.my room was amazing it was spotless bed so comfortable. There was one problem that the people useing the shared shower room was righf next yo my room the banging was so annoying & i have ptsd so not great also people dont seam to be able to shut a door without banging it.if maybe the wall next to the shower room was soundproofed it would realy help. To be honest its not realy the host thats at fault just shellfish people.

Lovely room and facilties. Open window to a busy road but had a fan to keep me cool with window shut. Could have been better if they did breakfast.
