It was a very basic room, adequate for our needs. The only real issue was a very strong pine soll like smell when entered. We turned on bathroom fan and closed the door, it seemed to help

A room with a great view. Breakfast gets a C, but it filled us up enough the make it to lunch. Dog friendly.easy access parking which was nice because we’re on a long road trip with lots of stuff to cart back and forth. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at quite a few motels during our Canadian/US roadtrip and this motel is right up there as one of our favourites. The rooms were clean and tidy, after a long days drive we were happy to order a freshly made pizza with some cool drinks and sit on the patio and enjoy the view over the river. A really special little gem.

No fitness facility as advertised that there was. Pool had brown looking water.

Cute place, can't wait to go back. Wish the treat didn't block the veiw in the rooms, but walking the property takes that problem awsy

The bed was very comfortable, and room was nice enough, but there was a musty smell, like it was a smoking room at one time. Coffee maker did not work, and that goodness I had ear plugs as you could hear freeway and traffic all night. Breakfast was fine.

Initially unimpressed by old fashioned motel style. Didn’t realize The Dalles OR was such an industrial area. However it provided a decent place to stay with a very basic breakfast. Places for dinner were a couple of miles away.

Easiest check-in ever! Great price for excellent stay. 3 otters coffee steps away!

Some rooms have a wonderful view of the river, dam and mountain. Very relaxing.

Great find for a place to stay along the way that doesn’t break bank. Clean and friendly staff.

Property exceeded expectations. Friendly staff, life entertainment, great pizza, awesome view, fair priced food and drinks. Rooms are a bit small and aged but clean and nostalgic. Breakfast buffet was great with outside seating options. Did I say the staff was amazing! Will definitely stop there again on our next motorcycle ride. Thank you.

I was a bit nervous driving in in the dark. The lobby leaves a little to be desired. I was actually shocked at how nive rhe rooms were. Shockingly small, but in excellent shape. Nice quality towels! All the hotel type thi gs in the room you'd expect in Best Western. I was just there by myself for one night. Arrived late, left very early. The night shift lady was very nice. Morning shift lady was a bit cold. I greeted her, even thanked her for breakfast. It was like she couldnt be bothered with talking to me. Pretty strange for hospitality industry. Good breakfast.

Check in was quick, staff was very friendly. Didnt expect a large, non refundable pet deposit as it wasn't posted but at midnight, i was too tired to argue. Would stay again, very comfortable with a nice bed and room was clean.

We had an incredible view of the Columbia River and The Dalles Dam. I loved the picture book in the lobby of Native Americans, of which Celilo falls where natives fished before the dam, is the namesake of the Inn.

Room much smaller than depicted in pics, but served its purpose. Just needed a good night’s sleep.
