Our stay at The Peninsula Shanghai was truly outstanding. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better — right on The Bund, with easy access to the city’s main attractions and incredible skyline views. The room was enormous, elegant, and exceptionally comfortable, perfectly blending classic style with modern luxury. Every detail — from the bedding to the technology — was thoughtfully designed to make our stay effortless and relaxing. The facilities throughout the hotel are superb, from the lobby to the spa and restaurants, maintaining the high standards you’d expect from The Peninsula brand. But what made our experience truly memorable was the outstanding service from Leo at the Concierge desk. He went above and beyond to assist us whenever we needed help, with genuine kindness and professionalism. Leo’s attention and care made a real difference and reflected the warm, personalized hospitality that defines The Peninsula. We couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly — a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and impeccable service.

Fantastic stay as the last time, will try to stay longer next time. Excellent service and taste for decoration. We liked also the gift shop.

Séjour fantastique dans cet hôtel idéalement placé et aux standards irréprochables. Nous avions une suite de luxe Bund view et la vue était splendide. La suite était spacieuse et magnifique.

Overral impression is okay. Service is a main point of concern. During the lunch time in the lobby area after having main courses and salads we were not allowed to share a single pot of tea for three of us. We have been forced to buy 3 pots of tea instead: one for each of us. In the meanwhile during all 5 breakfasts we had there, every time we asked for tea there was only one pot served as a default setting. No doubt we had more on request, but after a request only.
