Courteous staff and ease of check in. They assisted us to our rooms and protected us on the room amenities. Also just walking distance to the Sta Lucia train station.

Room was very nicely decorated. Bet was very comfortable. Plenty of water pressure and hit water fir shower/baths. AC was clearly working and very comfortable temp in room. The front desk staff were always friendly and went out of their way to help you with things to do. The water front deck was so nice for sipping capichino and boat watching. If your looking for a smaller quaint hotel that will bring you joy on your vacation...this is it.

Loved, loved , loved our stay here. Fabulous breakfast, beautiful location that was both convenient and quiet. Gorgeous furnishings and comfortable bed. Staff were super helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Perfekte Lage, wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Vaporetto 2 Minuten entfernt. Wunderschöner Gastgarten. Perfektes Personal, höflich, herzlichen, hilfsbereit. Großen und sauberes Zimmer.

In this hotel we stumbled upon a terrible experience: bed bugs. Any travelers worst nightmare, we understand this is high traveling season and can happen to anyone, the hotel room was clean and even after inspection for bed bugs we did not see them until the last morning. We suspected bed bugs due to bites after first night staying there. We informed the staff and they apologized and closed the room after us leaving the room. In my opinion, the decor is very beautiful but having fabrics for wallpaper, curtains like so, etc increases the change and hiding spots for bedbugs. We managed the situation ourselves without any help from the hotel staff.

I loved that it was by the water. The staff were amazing and informative! Me and my mom had a great time!

Very pretty hotel - rooms are very nice - you are close to the train/bus station so only a short walk with your suitcase and it’s 25 min walk to your main spots like San Marco square.

Good location. Very average room, definitely did not feel like 4* at all (this was standard room in annexe). Cocktail ordered was poorly made. Staff were friendly though. If you want 3* experience this is fine.

The staff were so friendly, kind and helpful. Location is right near the station and ferry ports so it’s easy for travel too. Wonderful experience and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

The staff were very accommodating and arranged for a water taxi to pick us up at the cruise terminal. They also stored our luggage as we had an early arrival and gave us a GREAT room with a wonderful outdoor terrace with a view onto the Grand Canal. They made a dinner recommendation and made a reservation for us. They also arranged for a water taxi for us to the airport for our departure. We truly enjoyed every part of our one night stay!

We loved our stay at Canal Grande Hotel. Wonderful location oversetting the canal in a quieter part of town. We enjoyed having breakfast on the private deck on the canal. Hotel had a lot of character and beautifully decorated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Great hotel. Good location, walking distance from the train station. Room is spacious with beautiful Venizien decorative. Staff is friendly, helpful. This is the 1st. time I am visiting Venice. Staying 3 nights. I saw photos on the Internet when I booked, but didn't expect much. Most of the time, photos are better; however, in this case what you see is what you get. Thanks 👍!
