Pleasant staff

It’s in a convenient location with continental breakfast. Staff are always friendly. The pool was way too cold this time. We were surprised by this. We don’t stay in the pool too long this time.

Breakfast was great. The shower was awesome, good pressure. Bed was very comfortable. Nice sized room!

Currently the hotel is undergoing renovations but it was still business as usual. Nice room. Will be a very nice place once the renovations are completed.

Check in was easy enough, and the girl at the front counter was friendly. When I got to my room, the first thing I noticed is that the bed seemed small for the king size bed that I booked. For a reference I’m just over 5 feet tall, and when I laid across the bed sideways, my head touched one end, and my feet dangled off the other. It seemed more like a queen size bed that a king size bed. I called the front desk and they insisted that it was a king size bed. The bed itself had urine stains on it, as well as some stuff on the side that looks like it could’ve been blood. There were also spots on the wall that looked like they could be blood in the bathroom. The tubs are old anddefinitely not deep enough to soak in. There was also what appeared to be mould growing on the caulking in the bathroom. The area itself is very good, lots of food choices around and easy to find off of one of the main roads in Edmonton. They are currently doing renovations, so hopefully the property improves. But I will not be staying here again, even though I’m the best western member, my staywas very disappointing.

Great breakfast Clean room

Great service, hotel being renovated, so got a good deal. Hubby used the gym, breakfast was hotel breakfast, but had gluten free bread & dedicated toaster and very helpful person Anu.

Amazing front desk team. Nice and clean room, perfect stay overall

Smaller parking lot for the amount of rooms offered. Noticed a few ants in our room on the second floor. Wallpaper in hallways peeling up (currently under construction) Breakfast menu only offered to higher valued/more expensive rooms. Room overall was very clean.

Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff members we dealt with were very friendly and helpful.

Good clean room, great staff and comfortable bed

I was impressed overall with this property. I was very disappointed that at every turn there was a prompt for me to provide a tip to the staff, even after checking out when being asked to provide a review. If their staff needs the tip to supplement their income that is on the hotel chain to pay them adequately, not on the guest. A tip for going above and beyond is one thing, but them leaving a manufactured business card in the room asking us to use the QR code to tip the housekeeping staff is offensive.

Hotel is a construction zone with many things out of order

Very good overall. Currently working on renovations so a bit of disruption but no problem for guests. Room was great. Breakfast was very good. Another family member stayed there as well, we checked in at the same time, bit of an issue with his reservation. The young lady working the front desk went above and beyond to assist. Excellent service. Polite, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful. Not sure of her name but she was great 👍
