Rating & Review Keseluruhan Southern Cross Atrium Apartments

We arrived in Cairns by train and the apartments are a stone's through from the main station and the shopping mall. It's also just a 15 minute walk from the quayside with many great restaurants and is the gateway to exploring the Great Barrier Reef. The swimming pool (beside the BBQ area) was a welcome relief on thos hot sticky days.

We had a very quiet room with Good equipment, only the beds are very soft. Some rooms are facing the parking area and probably a lot more noisy.

Adjacency to shopping mall, nearby grocery stores and reasonable walk to popular streets and promenade are key reasons to stay here.

Perfect! This is my 3rd year staying here. Rooms are clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment. Shower is great very good water pressure WiFi has improved from previous years Staff are polite and friendly Was allowed to check out a hour later than stated. I will be back

Good location for the CBD walking distance to shop, bars and restaurants. Rooms big enough but can hear a lot of noises that go on outside. Fan speed was slow or very fast which was noisy .

The apartment was quiet and located within easy walking distance to everything. Having the shopping centre close by was great also. Only issue was our bathroom door didn't close but other than that the apartment was awesome. Wound definitely stay again

Really neat clean property with all the items you need in a studio. So much better value than the old dumps in cairns for similar pricing. 👍

It was very centrally located which made it convenient. The room was not very soundproof. We would have been charged for an early check in.

Great studio apartment looking over the pool. Had everything we needed and was well apportioned. Whilst not on the front it is only 10 mins walk and therefore quieter

My husband & I booked in at the last minute for 5 nights due to a change in plans as a result of the cyclone in Brisbane. Very pleasantly surprised with the studio apartment - very clean & modern & had everything we needed, including kitchenette and washer/dryer. Great value for money too. Only a 15-20min walk to the esplanade (we walk fairly quick!) & right next door to Coles supermarket (5mins walk max!). Pools were lovely albeit it the sun bed area was quite small and didn’t leave much room for being able to walk past! Only negative was that the gyms air con didn’t work and given the heat & humidity in cairns, there was no way I could work out without aircon!

Ett bra boende i Cairns. Ligger granne med Cairns största köpcentrum. I lägenheten fanns det ett bra kök, tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Sängarna var helt ok. Ett litet gym och fina poolområden. Vi var jättenöjda!

This is an amazing place and as someone who has just recently relocated to Cairns it was a great place to stay while try to find a house, I will definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

Only bad thing is that the guidance how to check-in at gate was difficult to understand.

Comfortable place to stay when in Cairns. Can easily walk to the marina for water activities.
