Great stop off on way down South, handy location just off the M1, good pub, decent room and a great breakfast, for the price I couldn’t fault it.

ホテルにPUBがあり、ご近所さんでにぎわっていた。夕食も取ることができる。（日本でいう）二階のへやに止まったが、エレベーターがなく、トランクを階段で持ち上げる必要がある。朝ごはんは、生野菜やフルーツがなく、あまり充実していない。

You may need to wait for a while at reception for checking in, as there may not have front desk staff right there

In my opinion the property is in much need of a refurbishing. I spend several days a week in hotels and it still staggers me that logistically can make a huge difference in your experience even though you can pay the same price for your overnight stay.

I sent this to greeneking Iam writing regarding the room my mother and I stayed in on Christmas Eve. While the room was a reasonable size, it was extremely dated and had visible dents in the wall, which immediately suggested poor maintenance. However, the bathroom was the main issue, and it was in a condition that should never be offered to paying guests. The attached photos show mold along the caulking, rusted and corroded fixtures, cracked fittings, and clear signs of long-term neglect. The bathroom did not feel clean, safe, or hygienic. No guest should be expected to use facilities in this state. In addition, the WiFi was unusable throughout our stay, forcing me to rely on my own mobile data. Combined with the dated décor and the condition of the bathroom, it is evident that the room is in urgent need of refurbishment. I am also concerned whether other rooms are in a similar condition, as these issues appear to be ongoing rather than isolated. Given the impact on our stay and the condition shown in the photos, I am requesting appropriate compensation or a refund. This is a reasonable and justified expectation based on the evidence provided. Please confirm how you intend to resolve this matter. If I do not receive a response within 7 days, I will escalate this complaint further. Regards, Sarah -

Clean room, super friendly staff. Only negative is bathroom is dated.

Reception was very professional and welcoming

The room was quiet and comfortable. A few areas of the hotel, including the room, could use some touch up and newness. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly. We chose to eat at the restaurant, as it was convenient, but the set up surprised us and we found it not to our liking. Very very little interaction with the staff, as it is completely app based ordering. Our drinks (in bottles) were dropped off and the person was gone, before we could ask for a glass. So that had to be collected from the bar. When the food was brought to the table, we were directed to get our own utensils, etc. from the condiment station along the wall. Not a single staff person came by after that to ask how our meal was. If possible, I would give the restaurant a lesser rating separately, as the hotel was fine.

Great value stay. The room was comfortable with plenty of space.to work and relax. The pub restaurant next door was excellent.
