The excellent manager thinks that Expedia sends the email, but Expedia does not. As he does not reside on the premises, he needs to know in advance the arrival time of guests so that he can be there. Fortunately, he was able to locate me on What'sApp and ask me for the information. EXPEDIA NEEDS TO FIX THIS.

The host was a delight to talk with, and a true host. The facilities were clean, maintained, supplied, and attractive. The location is convenient for walking and public transportation.

Ludmil who runs the B&B is very friendly and attentive to detail. He is knowledgeable in Bulgarian history, we enjoyed his tour to Rila monastery.

The place is 20minutes walking from the nearest metro station. There is a wide living room, kitchen, and laundry. In the room, bed, desk, sofa,cloak, toilet and shower. But the reason why I recommend is the owner. His co-host is a descendant of Italian kraftman. So our furniture came from 1910-20Italian. He set up perfect breakfast at 8:30. Plus, he explains short history of Sofia. His sincererlity is out standing in my experience in Europe.

We absolutely loved and appreciated our host, Ludmil. He is welcoming, gracious, knowledgeable and excited to share his love of Bulgaria and his breadth of knowledge with all of his guests. He is the main reason to stay at Casa Ferrari. We can’t thank him enough for his hospitality. Accommodations are clean and comfortable and are in a good, walkable location. The room was large and breakfast good. By US standards, this is a very modest accommodation which was good for us and afforded us nice opportunities to interact with the other guests from various international locations. We highly recommend Casa Ferrari for travelers who want to get to know their host, local environment and other world travelers.

We had a great trip. Ludmil is a wonderful host! We enjoyed the different Bulgarian pastries each morning & his chats about Bulgarian history, plus advice on where to go & how to get there. He also took us one day to Rila Monastery, a trout restaurant & Boyana Church. This was a more relaxing trip than if we'd gone on a coach tour!

Super Unterkunft mit sehr nettem Gastgeber, der viel über die Geschichte Bulgariens erzählen kann und auch gerne Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants gibt. Wir hatten eine super Zeit. Die Lage ist auch sehr praktisch, das historische Zentrum ist zu Fuß oder mit Straßenbahn/U-Bahn super zu erkunden.

A safe, welcoming, quiet, clean and central location, perfect for exploring Sofia. Would highly recommend. Thank you Ludmil, for such a wonderful stay!

A estadia foi excelente, casa muito bem localizada, com limpeza impecável e conforto muito bom. O anfitrião, Ludmil, faz por si só fazer valer a pena. É um búlgaro que domina a história do seu país e que a conta em todos os momentos com uma paixão e conhecimento assinalável. Somos uma família de 4 (2 adultos 2 crianças de 13 e 10) e gostamos muito. Fomos também até Plovdiv com a ajuda do Ludmil.

Casa Ferrari is a cozy home base for exploring Sofia. Ludmil is an engaging host, knowledgeable about history and sites that may be of interest. The personal touch was nice.
