Below expectations! Disappointing. Renu down property. The cottages were not very well kept. Lot of wear and tear - broken cloth hangers, broken kettle, leaking wash basin etc. silver lining - the ala carte meals were tasty though not much selection in the menu. Buffet was bad! Quite inside from the main area. So no choice except to manage within the property only. However, transport desk efficient. Cabs reasonable. Didn’t take pics.

Fair bit of mosquitos comign fom adjacent poperties and stagnant pools inside property. No popery management cannot fight it alone and it is a poblem. Recommend use fly o mosquito repellents.

Breakfast and Lunch is not that good.

The resort was located in calm serene place. Rooms were well maintained, service staff were courteous. Wish there were some amenities in the resort, it just had swimming pool

Good place to stay , the only disadvantage is its too remote place to reach. Hotel not provides cabs for travel so it is better to use own vehicles or hired by ourselves

My partner and myself attended a private yoga class every morning conducted by the fabulous Mr Vishnu Prasad and then we would go for our Ayurvedic consultation with Dr James and then massage treatment with his amazing team . The hotel staff were also wonderful and supportive including reception. Housekeeping and catering and not forgetting the Gardner.

- Not infant friendly. Bed corners are very sharp. -Bed is too soft and they don't have any other room with normal bed. -Kitchen/Chef is awesome. Breakfast(Buffet) & Dinner (A'la carte) both were great. Food is truly the best. - We booked online as when searching for Hotels near Kovalam beach but it's in Balarampuram (15Kms) - We didn't like room flooring. - it's near to Cherai beach which is not clean at all. People in the morning go there to faece(potty). - it's midway to Poovar & Kovalam beach so you can enjoy both.

We stayed at the Abad Harmonia for 10 nights and used the hotel as a base for visiting Poovar, Trivandrum and Kovalam. Although the hotel is just a five minute walk from the beach, the beach itself is a working beach for the fishermen from the local village and therefore may not be suitable for families. We chose to stay in the main hotel in a room on the top floor overlooking the pool rather than one of the cottages as we found the room more to our liking. The room was an excellent size with a very large double bed and practical shower room with walk in shower. Tea and coffee making facilities were also provided in the room as well as a daily complimentary large bottle of water. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived and remained so throughout our stay although some of the fixtures & fittings were a little tired. Restaurants and amenities in the immediate surrounding area were minimal so we ate at the hotel's restaurant and were delighted with the quality, value and variety of the food. All of the staff at the Abad Harmonia made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

Trodde att vi bokade ett hotell i närheten av Kovalam beach, vilket visade sig vara helt fel. Fint hotell, med bra service, men långt ifrån civilisation o badbar strand.

The stay was good & the food excellent. The pool was superb. Over all the lay out was ideal to unwind yourself from the busy streets.

The stay was pleasant. Its a nice place with a clean pool. Not too far from the beach and a small village. Its about 10km away from the famous kovalam beach. Staff are friendly and helpfull. Would be better if the rooms are cleaner and a bit more modern. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

remotely located with no provision of sign boards. far away from kovalam beach. room had a very irritating smell of room freshner. services were good but rooms were too old, bath tub was all damaged. rooms were clean but u can't enjoy the cleanliness due to old furniture. we just had the breakfast and it was good. at this price u might get something nice near the beach

plus points 1. friendly staff 2. Quiet atmosphere 3. price appeared cheapest for 4 star hotel... you will know why negative points 1. Quite far from kovalam - infact it would make no difference if I have stayed at at a resort in Trivandrum city itself!! 2.Resort set right in the middle of fishing village - I certainly did not feel comfortable walking outside the hotel with my family 3. The beach near to resort is a local beach and is nothing spectacular. 4. toilets in the room has mould on the roof and furniture in room looks ancient! 5.overall quite dissapointing for Abad hotels.
