Great stay, lovely hosts who couldn’t do enough to help! Breakfast was also great with a good selection! Parking onsite which is an added bonus! Would definitely return!

Mike and Lynn are wonderful hosts, they run the place flawlessly. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with high-quality toiletries and a delicious breakfast provided. The location is excellent, just a 3-minute walk to the town center.

Mike and Lynn run a first-class professional establishment. They provide an appropriately relaxed environment with excellent facilities. Our room was quiet, spacious and spotless. The bed was comfortably firm. For those traveling by car, the ample parking in an enclosed courtyard is a rare bonus. Breakfast selections are prepared with care. Overall, the property and management deserve a five-star rating.

Well located with wonderful garden

Mike & Lynn provide everything you need for a stay in The Lakes. Beautiful rooms. Beautiful gardens. Great food and a friendly nature towards their guests. The location is perfect for being close to the village centre and a great base for visiting surrounding areas. Cannot recommend enough and will be definitely visiting again.

Great location, very close to the center of town. Easy walk to very nice restaurants. Nice, comfortable rooms. Pretty, welcoming, quiet garden. Lovely, large breakfast, if you wish. Healthy, vegan, and vegetarian options available.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely lodge, which offered luxurious rooms and delicious breakfasts. It was an easy walk from the lodge to everywhere in town. The hosts were friendly and helpful. If we return to the Lake District, we would love to stay here again.

Nice, well-maintained, up-market B&B in a good, quiet location. They offer a variety of rooms at different price points. The standard double rooms are more suited to a single person.

Fantastic hotel, great location, great breakfast and very welcoming hosts

Perfect B&B with lovely hosts. Deluxe room was great, and I loved the spa bath complete with Bath House toiletries. Yummy brekkie with gluten free & veggie diets accommodated. Only very very small downside was the music played at brekkie was way too depressing/schmaltzy! Something more upbeat would be a nice way to start the day. Definitely recommend this B&B

Had a lovely weekend at the Wheatlands. Mike and Lynne were lovely good host. Couldn't fault anything. A good choice of breakfast to choose from and was great. Recommended hotel to stay.

As near perfect as makes no difference

Lovely, quiet place to stay near centre of Windermere. Excellent freshly cooked breakfasts and very comfy and well equipped room

My partner and I stayed here for a few days while in Windermere and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Mike and Lynn are fantastic hosts, providing a friendly, high quality service. The breakfast menu offers vegan alternatives, which we found delightful. The rooms were cosy and well kept. The interior is well decorated and instills a welcoming atmosphere. We greatly appreciated the clear care and effort put in to make our stay a memorable one.

Everything about our stay was fantastic from the moment we arrived to when we left. Our room was well equipped, extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel was excellent and very quiet. Breakfast was the best we’ve had at a hotel. Fantastic produce with homemade bread and granola pots. Mike and Lynn were fantastic hosts, very helpful and knowledgeable. When we go to the Lakes again, there is only one place we will be staying.

Lovely B&B, comfortable and modern, in a great location (central Windermere, 20mins from Bowness/the lake). Hosts were fantastic, friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was incredible. Couldn’t fault anything

We stayed in room 1 which was very clean, welcoming and fairly spacious. The décor is pleasant and the room was well dressed and bright. There is coffee and tea in the room and fresh milk was provided on arrival. Lynn and Mike were very attentive and suggested walks and places to visit. Mike's Eggs Benedict for breakfast is to die for and is the best I have tasted. The large full English is also a nice start to the day.

A welcoming place to stay..in the heart of Windermere. The owners are keen to make you feel at home..well appointed rooms..good local knowledge...excellent breakfasts. A good base for exploring..car park handy too. Definitely a place to recommend.
