Under construction and they do not tell you this until after you book a non refundable room. Amenities were lacking, tv didn’t work and guy who came to look at it had no clue. Bathroom not all that clean and loud with kids running around. This is not the first time we’ve had a not so great stay here. The front desk staff were lovely and accommodated as much as they could. Location is also good.

Poor hotel, should never be a 4-star hotel. Front desk staffs have terrible attitude. Room is terrible, parking lot is terrible. Will never recommend to anyone.

Overall the place could use some attention. The carpets in the halls were very dirty, the bed’s box spring was torn and the pool/hot tub area was in need of repairs. Of note we were in the Annex building.

The corridors in the hotel are not very good. The room number signs are off, but the rooms are clean inside.

The hotel was under renovation so all the halls we a mess. I walked out of my room to go to the main lobby only to find I was walking in wet cement. Spoke to receptionist and she did not care. We paid $654 per night and there was no service. For towels you had to call the front desk and it rang 30 times before someone picked up. There was no garbage collection for the four days we were there. I am surprised they aren’t infested with bugs. The kettle did not work and they asked to wash our own dishes. The dishes ion the cupboard were dirty and I had to wash them before use. Overall we should have been told they were under renovation. According to price room and view is not worth. Even AC not working in room.

It didn’t state that the property is under major renovation Luckily our room was lovely and well appointed but there was tremendous dust in hallways

We stayed at the annex building. The AC was not working, the parking spots are very small and they do not clean your room unless you call. Not worth the price. We went to return the keys to check out before 7 am. and there was nobody around. The maintenance guy and cleaning team were nice and helpful after we contacted the front office about the issues with the AC.

The location worked great. Easy to get on and off freeway, lots of shops and food in walking distance

Beautiful property

Awesome 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo unit for a 3-night stay with a friend flying in from out of province. Unit was very well kept and clean, considering its age and the amount of turnover occupancy. Standard things to be expected like dents on coffee tables and chips on furniture. A/C was not working. Front Desk didn’t say anything about it despite a post-it note on top of my room reservation saying “check with maintenance that A/C is working” that they crumpled up and threw out. I came to the front desk after checking in to report it. HVAC came to the room 3 hours later to repair it. The town of Canmore also had a power outage for a couple hours during our stay, luckily I went back to bed after talking to the Front Desk that it wasn’t just our unit or the hotel. Awesome location, great hotel for families or large groups. Felt like an apartment and very comfy. Gym was small but serviceable. We did not use the waterslide or hot tub but I’ve stayed at the Annex Building many times and it’s enjoyable. Renovations were taking place so the hallways were gutted. The parking garage can be confusing which spots are available for hotel guest and which spaces are owned for condo owners.

Kids enjoyed the pool area with the big slide. There was also a shallow pool area for the younger littles. The pool area was clean and well maintianed. They could use more chairs fro parents on the pool deck though.

Nice, easy stay

I could tell they had done some updates to the annex building which was nice, but the showers didn't have any ledges for soaps etc, and the doors are not stroller/handicap accessible. The front door has a button that doesn't work and the side door you must enter has two doors in succession which is very difficult to get through with a stroller or wheelchair. The restaurant connected to the main building was nice and the food was great. Didn't have enough time to enjoy the pools but they looked lovely

Blinds make no sense. They don't cover the whole window so lots of light comes in. The fridge isn't level.so it wobbles a lot. Bed was comfy and room clean. Service was ok, only 1 front desk agent, so we had to wait a while. Its defintly overpriced for what you get. No early check in available.
