Was such a joy to stay a the cottages. Beautiful surrounds.

I was upgraded to the Top lodge on the very top, but when I go look out the window there is a huge tree obstructing my view. I literally couldn’t see anything. No lake no mountain just a big tree.

Nice hiking as property is on Bear Mountain State Park.

Besides the minor inconvenience of working construction of the B.M.-Inn, the merry go round and boat not working or open to guests We truly enjoyed it. It was very relaxing, nice place to walk beautiful, amazing scenery, and close by other point of interest. 👍

Bear Mountain State Park und die Unterkünfte overlook lodge und bear mountain inn sind traditionelle lodges mit rustikalem interior, das sehr gepflegt ist und super gut in die Umgebung passt. Die trails sind wunderbar und auch wenn man nur im den Hessian Lake wandert, hat man einen tollen Spaziergang erledigt.

The staff, room and property were lovely. The view from the porch? Spectacular !!!

Great place for couples getaway

Check-in was easy, and the staff was helpful. The area around the stay was beautiful.

The stone cottage we stayed in had 0 heat. Nothing could be done. Slept in my car for the night. It had heat. Never ever again.

It was great experience. Felt like I was out of NY (the city that is), which was great. Very peaceful atmosphere. Beautiful views. The Outlook Lodge is a little more than a mile walk to the main Inn which is the Bear Mountain Inn. Sometimes it’s difficult going to and fro if you don’t have a car. I suggest that you guys should have a bike or surrey rental but nonetheless the stay was great.

Very quiet and serene. I loved the lobby in the Lodge in which you can sit on the deck and enjoy a coffee or meal. You can also build a fire in the fireplace with your family.

Exactly what I needed! Great view, cool breeze, and quiet! Staff were friendly, rooms were comfortable. The food at the restaurant is just okay.
