Good news and bad news. Good news: We had a broken suitcase handle when we arrived. On mention to the concierge, the maintenance man arrived in 5 minutes with toolbox in hand and in another 5 minutes he had it fixed. Yay! Five stars to that guy! Bad news: my wife and I had a couples massage and were charged double the price quoted to me. I felt ripped off. That marred a wonderful stay. So only four stars.

The room was clean. Nothing special, similar to what you find in an USA city hotel. The breakfast was extra special. If you can't find something to eat then you don't like breakfast. The hotel validated the parking ticket for the garage below the hotel. The parking garage included about a dozen spots to charge an EV.

We enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in a suite with the extra beds for our kids. It was clean and comfortable. The pool was great. 15 min walk to the old town of Coimbra was the only drawback. Also, limited food options at the property and immediate surroundings on a Sunday We would stay again though

Évitez cet hôtel... J'avais envoyé un message pour savoir si la chambre twin pouvait être préparée en lit double comme nous le demandons dans d'autres hôtels. Je n'ai jamais reçu de réponse. A notre arrivée, rien n'avait été prévu. Nous avons donc eu une chambre twin et la réceptionniste n'avait pas d'autre disponibilité que de payer pour une chambre supérieure. Pour l'accès au sauna, hammam et piscine intérieure, il faut réserver son créneau de 45 minutes! Cet espace n'est pas en libre accès... Heureusement que j'ai posé la question à la réceptionniste à notre arrivée le soir même car la seule disponibilité était le le demain matin à 10h. Pour l'accès à la piscine intérieure et au jacuzzi, emmenez un bonnet de bain. Sinon il vous sera facturé 4€! Car obligatoire. Aucun de ces détails n'est précisé sur Hôtels.com. Enfin la chambre était vieillotte (moquette jaune moutarde et meubles marron foncé obsolètes), et les murs sont si fins qu'elle était très bruyante : au 1er étage, fenêtre simple donnant sur la rue glauque. Nous avons entendu les éboueurs à 6h30 du matin, nous avons entendu les gens parlant dans le couloir passant devant notre chambre. Et nous avons entendu les chasse d'eau des étages supérieurs la nuit et le bruit de l'eau qui coule de la douche des memes chambres le matin de bonne heure. Mauvaise expérience. J'en ai parlé à la réceptionniste au check-out, mais cela n'a rien changé. Même pas de geste commercial pour le bonnet de bain. Note positive : petit dej
