Okay breakfast was included but mud could be included to the same effect. That is to say both are inedible and one wonders if they hired prison staff to stock the breakfast buffet. Otherwise, a very decent place

This property is right at the waterfront and everything is within a short walking distance. Leave your vehicle parked and check out historical Kingston, breakfast was absolutely fantastic, and coffee always fresh all day long. We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights in a really spacious king suite with full kitchen including dishes and dishwasher

We stayed for four nights at the Residence Inn while visiting our son. It was a great experience and we would stay there again. The hotel is right on the water and situated so you can enjoy walking while sightseeing as well as go to restaurants and shopping in the downtown area. Being on the edge of "downtown" also ensures a quite and very safe location. The room was a great size and in excellent condition. We stayed in a studio King Room with kitchenette. The layout was very accommodating for a son to stop by and visit. Additionally, the furnishings and bed were very comfortable. Another great feature is the breakfast which offers an exceptional variety of items. This made starting each day seamless and was greatly appreciated. The only negative would be the daily parking fee which was $45 per day. Because of this amount we did find an alternate parking option. Although parking in Kingston is challenging and always a "noticeable extra", this amount was certainly higher than what we have experienced at other properties. Finally, the greatest strength and most appreciated feature was the staff at the hotel who were kind, accommodating and very "service first" oriented. This is really what makes a stay great and encourages you to return. Consequently, I would recommend this option to anyone visiting Kingston.

I didn't like that they said a free bottle of wine with our booking and it did not happen and it did not have a p,ace to get a drink. The breakfast was fantastic and very good

My husband and I were in town for our anniversary, and spent one night. The staff were wonderful upon check in, and upgraded us to a different room and on the top floor(thanks!). Our room was spacious, very clean, and had a nice view out of our window which to our left, we had a view of the water. Breakfast the next morning was great, and loved that it was included with our stay. We would happily return in the future.

The staff were incredibly helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Parking is easy and they have EV charging, which we really appreciate.

The staff were fantastic, the location perfect and the breakfast was good. The room and lobby were clean. The room was dated but fine and the basement with amenities was in desperate need of facelift.
