Hôtel très correct mais 1 fois sur 2, on est vraiment mal accueillis à la réception. Personnel peu accueillant et mal formé. Pas au niveau d’un 4 étoiles.

The checkin is like every year a fight. I pay extra to have a room overseeing the lake.. but always for 8 years long I initially get a room with a Terrace in the basement of the hotel. If you put your window open you get the smoke from others (not nice when you have astma) in your room and with 8 degrees Celsius you don’t even need a Terrace facing a bush. This time the checkin was even more unpleasant. The woman was quite rude and made sure by her way of answering my questions, my good mood disappeared.. I paid unnecessarily more for a superior room. As I last year got a a chicken Caesar salad with raw chicken, so eat outside the hotel already together with the checking experience this year, I guess it’s better to change hotel for the next years.

A nice hotel option, upscale, architecturally a bit severe but with a very nice view of the mountains (not so much the lake). Overall, the neighborhood is very safe but unattractive: EPFL is not a campus notable for its grade, and the hotel has some sort of muddy field behind it (but with a path you can follow to walk on the side of the lake, which I recommend). Restaurant is good but has a limited choice; bar is fine but mostly has fairly cheap liqueur at relatively steep pricing. But the staff is incredibly warm and helpful, and we valued that. If you plan to use the sofa or sleep on it, ask for a room with a sofa that isn’t ancient and lumpy. Only some rooms even have a sofa, but among those that do, many should have been replaced around 1975!

A nice university hotel for visitors to Lausanne, but a bit sterile and the suites lack a dividing wall. Rooms are very upscale, but the dinner menu is rather limited (yet everything I tried was fantastic). Hard spot to reach, and you need some sort of vehicle toget from here to anywhere else.

Pas de chaussons pour marcher sur le carrelage froid de la SDB. Dommage que le restaurant n’ait pas prévu un choix de menus pour le 31/12/24.

Wonderful location overlooking the Lake. Comfortable rooms. Very friendly employees. Could have some more choices for breakfast.

Fui passar dois dias para uma cerimônia no comitê olímpico Internacional. Café da manhã muito bom. Logo disponibilizaram um cartão para utilizar os transportes públicos de forma gratuita (e são muito bons)! Apesar de ser um hotel “executivo”, para professores da faculdade que fica ao lado é outros hóspedes de temporada curta, é um ótimo hotel e oferece ótimo chuveiro e cama.

Séjour très agréable dans un hôtel très confortable, proche du lac. Une seule réserve: le manque d’isolation des toilettes dans une « cabine » de verre semblable à celle de la douche.
