Rating & Review Keseluruhan Holiday Inn DETROIT METRO AIRPORT by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Stayed 1 night. Close to airport. Very quiet and clean would stay here again.

Location and shuttle service was very convinient

Had to try three rooms to find a working tv. I was told maintenance was coming to the second room and they never showed up. I went back down to the lobby and the front desk person said he went home for the day. That would have been good know during the 35 minutes I waited. Not channels worked. Very frustrating. The shade was broken on the window and hanging half off the wall. I paid for a king but ended up getting two queens. Not a good stay at all.

If I had not brought my own food with, I would not have had anything for breakfast except bread in the form of bagels. I tried to make waffles in the machine but it did not work properly. The other food cost over $13. I believed that there was something like a continental breakfast, but it was just coffee and breads. I was very disappointed that I couldn’t have something to eat after that long flight that was delayed past midnight except for candy bars, and a four dollar bottle of iced tea. I was upset that the shuttle couldn’t find me and I couldn’t find the shuttle. I was at the airport looking and looking and looking and had but fatigue. I was grateful for the nice clean room. The room was dark because the light switches don’t work unless you leave one of the cards just inside the door in a power slot. It was very confusing to find your way around the room in the dark. The bathroom door shuts on its own instead of staying open when you want light to see the rest of the room. I was bumping into things. The TV programs had nothing for families or even interesting or pleasant programming.

Clean and comfortable!

Dtw Has a allowed a company to come in a charge for parking.. he very aware of this .. they will put a sticker on your car . The tickets are like 15$ just to park at the airport. Make sure the airport validates your parking

The best I can say is, you get what you pay for.

Room was nice and clean.

The room was very comfortable , the restaurant served reasonable food for both Dinner & Breakfast . Staff were helpful , but reception were detached & unaccessable .

Was perfect! I’m really picky when it comes to cleanliness and upkeep. I give this hotel, five stars!

Bathroom was clean but smelled like sewage. In general, hotel is older and furniture / decor was dingy.

Great stay

Was a nice stay. Room was big, and clean. bed was comfortable and i didnt wake with aches. staff was extremely helpful and nice.

Nice hotel by the airport

My first room 319 the bathroom had not been cleaned, the sink faucet had saliva spots on it and the mirror had water spots. The light switch had dirt stains on it. Not very happy about that.

I did not like the buffet. The buffet did not have large selection of food to be called a "buffet."
