Rating & Review Keseluruhan Hotel Indigo LONDON - TOWER HILL by IHG, an IHG Hotel

There was construction happening on the floor above us which was really loud starting at 8 am in the morning, on the one day we wanted to sleep a little longer. When I talked to main desk, they said they couldn’t offer a discount for this inconvenience or change our room so this would not happen the following morning. The hotel should not charge full price when guests are not provided suitable conditions. Alternatively, have the construction start at 10 am, still inconvenient but not disrupting sleep after a long day of travelling.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The room and bathroom were huge, much more spacious than expected. Everything was very clean and comfortable and water and snacks were complimentary. The location is great and close to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was very quiet. Bathroom was well equipped. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

We had a lovely 2 night stay here, well located to visit the Tower of London and St Paul's Cathedral. Recommend a city view room. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and eager to help, this continued thought our stay. Hotel is very nice throughout and very comfortable room.

Lovely hotel with great sized rooms. Spotlessly clean. And for one all of the mirrors and socket points were in the right places for makeup, hairdryer and charging. Great breakfast. Easy reach of 3 tube stations. I do think hotels.com need to be clearer about when money is deducted from the credit card you give during the booking process. We expected to pay £50 per room per night (2 rooms booked by one person) but instead I had the cost of the 1st night for both rooms deducted from my card before we even arrived without my authorisation. I had not planned to use that card for my stay.

Well located close to the Aldgate tube station. Easy to get around town. Couple pubs close by. Great morning buffet. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The hotel was clean, and staffs are kind, but facilities are a bit aging.

Very happy with hotel Indigo - have stayed in one in Glasgow and this was better. Really nice room with 4 poster bed, very comfortable. Strange toilet/sink style in the bathroom but it was all clean. Really handy for an event at the Tower of London.

Conveniently located to several attractions and underground stations!

Good location, really friendly staff. Don’t be fooled By the free mini bar as just a couple of bottles of water and a couple of chocolate bars. However more than you get in other hotels. Overall lovely place but take your own milk as there is a fridge . Loads of places to eat and drink .

The hotel was in a great spot and perfect at weekends as the City is quiet, but restaurants and bars are open (not all but enough). SkyGarden (highly recommend) is within 10 mins walk and Aldgate tube station is about 200 yards away. Service is great and the executive room we had was just perfect, Wonderful breakfast as well

Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer wurde nur oberflächlich geputzt und die Duschkabine ist sehr verkalkt gewesen. Unser Zimmer ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Parkettboden im Zimmer sowie die Badezimmertür quitschten und man hörte die Gäste im Zimmer über uns, wie sie durch ihr Zimmer liefen. Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig und im Zimmer ziehte es von draußen, trotz Doppelbeglasung der Fenster. Aufgrund der Hellhörigkeit und dem Getrampel der Gäste in dem Zimmer über uns, welches sehr laut gewesen ist, wurden wir nachts immer wieder wach. Das Zimmer verfügte über eine Nespresso Kaffemaschine und einen kleinen Kühlschrank, der täglich mit kostenlosen Getränken aufgefüllt wurde. Beim Check-In muss man im Voraus eine Gebühr zahlen, falls während des Aufenthalts Kosten für Extras anfallen sollten. Den vollen Betrag bekommt man aber nach seinem Aufenthalt wieder zurück, sofern keine Kosten für Extras angefallen sind. Wir fanden dies sehr merkwürdig. In anderen Hotels werden Extras einfach auf die Zimmernummer gebucht und sobald man auscheckt begleicht man alle offenen Rechnungen. Tower Bridge, London Tower, Restaurants, Cafès, Lebensmittelläden befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hotels. Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square und Buckingham Palace sind zu Fuß in 60 bis 80 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Hotel würden wir nicht weiterempfehlen.

Very nice room clean and tidy quiet Bed was comfortable and clean Room seem cold though the heating was awkward to change Very comfortable stay well placed hotel centralish for site seeing shopping etc with close access to 2 tube stations on different line depending on which way you wanted to head 5 min walk from the Tower of London

Got an upgrade which was nice. Room was a decent size and well appointed. Free mini bar. Decent shower and plenty of sockets in the room for charging devices. Free safe too. Pretty quiet with little noise from adjoining rooms. Restaurant ok as hotels restaurants go although it’s being refurbished. Good location for access to Docklands and getting into town. Will definitely stay in it again.
