There was a chemical smell in the room

Ich habe das SO/Vienna bereits mehrfach besucht, diesmal war der Aufenthalt jedoch weniger erfreulich. Der Empfang wirkte eher unpersönlich, fast schon gleichgültig. Obwohl ich eine andere Kategorie gebucht hatte, erhielt ich ein barrierefreies Behinderten Zimmer. Für Gäste, die darauf nicht angewiesen sind, ist das eher unpraktisch – nach einer kurzen Dusche stand das ganze Badezimmer unter Wasser, was eher an der Bauweise als am Duschverhalten lag.Ein Zimmerwechsel war zwar möglich, allerdings ohne große Freundlichkeit seitens des Personals. Sehr positiv hervorheben möchte ich dagegen die Dame beim Frühstück: aufmerksam, herzlich und äußerst serviceorientiert. Ganz anders leider die Erfahrung an der Bar – hier empfand ich den Umgang teilweise als arrogant und wenig gastfreundlich. Insgesamt hat mich dieser Aufenthalt enttäuscht. Die Zimmer wirken mittlerweile etwas steril und nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß. Ich werde das Hotel vorerst meiden, vielleicht aber zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt noch einmal eine Chance geben. Der Ausblick ist allerdings einfach klasse....

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was spacious, bright, modern, and offered an incredible view of the city—it was truly one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were very friendly, and I especially want to mention Anousha, who was exceptionally kind and helpful. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the lobby, which felt a bit dark and didn’t offer much in terms of amenities or atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Das SO/ Vienna ist ein modernes Stadthotel mit einem wunderbaren Ausblick auf die Stadt! Helle, schöne und sehr funktionale Zimmer.

Great hotel. Very helpful staff. Convenient location, close to the main parts of the city and transport. Phenomenal breakfast with views, excellent service overall. The room views were great. Only downside was that the TV would not connect to our phones to be able to watch Netflix/youtube etc. no big deal as most people don’t go on holiday to watch TV. But was a shame as it is nice when winding down before bed.

Breakfast was good but no customer service over there

Ich bin im Hotel angekommen, leider war das Zimmer in einem unzumutbaren Zustandfür 5 Sterne Hotel !!!!. Ich bin zur Rezeption gegangen, wo mir der junge Mann versprach, dass alles bis zu unserer Rückkehr erledigt sein würde. Leider ist jedoch nichts passiert. Gegen Mitternacht bin ich erneut hinuntergegangen und hatte endlich das Glück, eine wunderbare Dame namens Roxana zu treffen. Sie hat das Problem sofort gelöst, sich wirklich bemüht und alles getan, damit wir zufrieden sind. Schade um so ein Personal – abgesehen von Frau Roxana, der mein voller Respekt und meine Hochachtung gelten. Mit einer so engagierten Mitarbeiterin könnte das Hotel wirklich glänzen, der Rest hingegen lässt zu wünschen übrig.

So comfortable. We really enjoyed it.

Location a 600 metri circa dal centro, quindi comoda. Ultimo piano un bellissimo rooftop con pub. Hotel moderno, stanze molto ampie con grandi vetrate. Bagno pulito, con tutto il necessario e prodotti di qualità, chiuso con vetri zigrinati. Non metto 5 stelle perché il copriletto era sporco di rossetto e quando ho tirato sù le lenzuola c'erano delle briciole nel letto. Il giorno dopo era tutto pulito. Anche l arredo della mia stanza non era il top, bassa qualità.

We stayed in this hotel 4 nights . I emailed the hotel the days before to see if possible to have twin beds instead of queen bed , as I am poor sleeper and my husband snores , they emailed me back to say no problem we could arrange to have an extra bed , but when I arrived the reception male staff said that is not possible and I need to upgrade to king size bed by pay € 45 per night , which I wasn’t happy about it , otherwise the breakfast was served on the tope roof with beautiful view and the staff of the dinner been very nice with very good breakfast.

Location is great

The layout for our room was so different from what I was used to but definitely romantic in a sense: it had a large tub and frosted glass doors that can fully open to the bedroom area with a separate toilet and a mini fridge hidden in the closet. Very clean and fresh smelling and interesting to have to use the room card to access lights. Much love and appreciation to the staff for their service.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. I was also made to feel very special on my milestone birthday. Travel guidance on sightseeing/local places to visit was indeed helpful. Breakfasts were sumptuous too. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend this hotel to family & friends.

De acuerdo al prestigio de este hotel algunos colaboradores no están a la altura. Por ejemplo fuimos al front desk a decirles que no podíamos ver la TV y el nos contestó que la TV ahí estaba que como no la podíamos ver quiero pensar que se quiso pasar de chistoso pero no creo que es el trato que merece un cliente sobre todo si el comentario se lo expresó a mi esposa. Al día siguiente le pedimos a la recamarera que no hiciera el cuarto aún ya que subíamos a desayunar y en seguida teníamos un tour. Nuestra petición fue ignorada y cuando regresamos de desayunar estaban haciendo la limpieza del cuarto.

The only thing I like about this hotel is the view but you pay big $$ for higher floor. The hotel room is not clean and no one answers your call for house keeping or room service.
