Little problem with communication between Expedia and hotel. Front desk personnel Effectively fixed the problem and made us feel Relieved and welcome. Wonderful stay!

We could not have been happier with our stay. The staff was amazing. So welcoming. We had dinner in the restaurant and it did not disappoint. We would definitely return. It was very clean and comfortable.

Perfectly placed for where we wanted to visit. The staff were all really lovely, nice breakfast, comfy bed and everything available that you need. The hotel was very clean. We did the cow hill circuit, which was just behind the hotel and Neptune's staircase is a nice walk away.

Nothing wrong but the hotel is dated and has halls with fire doors and stairs throughout which made it feel maze-like. Parking lot was tiny, maybe 10 spots.

Das ist kein 4 Sterne Hotel. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut nicht ! Wir hatten 2 Zimmer gebucht. Unsere Zimmer waren nicht im Hotel selbst sondern in einem hässlichen Anbau. Das eine davon war für Behinderte Personen eingerichtet. Was auch toll ist wenn man so ein Zimmer braucht. Ein solches Zimmer kann man jedoch nicht einfach ohne Info an gesunde Leute vermieten. Das hatten wir nicht gebucht. Das Lavabo und Spiegel waren demnach viel zu tief. Schmutziger Teppich. Ausserdem waren die Zimmer Erdgeschoss direkt neben dem Parkplatz. Es war laut und die Aussicht schrecklich. Die Empfangs Dame war zudem sehr unfreundlich und unmotiviert. Vielleicht gibt es in diesem Hotel bessere Zimmer die haben wir jedoch nicht gesehen. Nie wieder in diesem Hotel !!! Frühstück war in Ordnung, Restaurant und Bedienung im Service freundlich.

Nice hotel and great staff. A little walk to downtown but easily doable and parts pleasant. Close to Cow Hill Trail which is a great hike with great views from summit. Showers - like almost everywhere else in Scotland leave something to be desired. But, all in all a good choice

A bit dated and over priced. Lovely night porter who helped me out immensely. Evening meal was terrible and I was starving so you’d think I’d have enjoyed anything but that was cooked by a real try hard with little skills unfortunately. Also overpriced.

Fint lille hotel på hovedvejen igennem byen, men praktisk afstand til alt. Fin lille restaurant, hvor personalet var imødekommende og virkelig serviceminded. Fik desværre et værelse ved side af hotellets toilet ved receptionen, og det var tydeligt at høre, når folk var på toilettet.

I liked the location, but the staff did not provide the best service, either at meals or the front desk, the staff was not very helpful.
