Katharina is a great hostess, she gave us some wonderful recommendations during our stay. Our room was very comfortable and clean, even a sheet to sleep under, not just a duvet. You could make your own coffee, tea or hot chocolate and there were water bottles in the fridge. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Delicious fresh fruit salad and a large selection of cooked and cold food. We would most certainly stay here again.

Eine “fast” perfekte Wohlfühl Unterkunft. Ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit tollen Ausblicken. Ein sehr gutes Bett, gut riechende schöne Handtücher. Das Bad mit Badewanne und wunderbarer Dusche und die Toilette separat. Dazu ein leiser, gut funktionierender Kühlschrank - alles richtig gut. Ich bin wirklich ein Hundefreund, mag aber nicht Nachts vom Bellen mehrfach gestört zu werden. Daher “nur” mein “fast” perfekt. Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft.....

An incredible stay which I can only sing praise about. Kat and Charl were incredible hosts - friendly, considerate and secretly Kat is an brilliant chef. The accommodation was lovely, with great attention to detail not to mention to the exquisite views that the rooms offered. I would recommend this to any traveler and they will be seeing us again in the future.

Lovely hosts, unique atmosphere and beautiful location

What a wonderful place to stay when visiting the Cape town area. Lovely hotel owners (incl. the dogs :-)), wonderful modern hotel, magnificent view, close to some of the best things to do in the area (Kogelberg nature reserve, penguin colony, Pringle bay beach, Botanical garden...). Definitely recommend!

Beautiful views of the mountains, and very close to excellent hiking at Kogelberg Reserve. Katarina is a fabulous hostess, and her lodge is perfectly clean, comfortable, and convenient. Highly recommended.

Amazing place.. Attention to every detail

Lovely guest house excellent decor, stylish and modern but tucked away in a quiet spot with amazing views. Katherina was very welcoming and attentative to all our needs including my awkward dietary requirements. Would highly recommend staying here, close to the penguins but if you can drive to Hermanos for a chance to watch the whales!

Ligger en bit utanför ”centrum” så man måste ha bil om man ska åka och äta eller åka ner till vattnet. Ingen taxi fanns att tillgå. Däremot kunde man äta på hotellet :) Vi stannade en natt på vägen mot Kapstaden och det var perfekt!

Toller Empfang und Aufenthalt, ruhige Lage, Wohlfühloase. Wetter hat leider nicht ganz mitgespielt, hat dem Aufenthalt abef nichts abgetan. Lohnenswerter botanischer Garten und Penguin-Reserve in der Nähe! Service war herausragend!

All is excellent. The attention and the reception was wondering!!! The confort is very good. Just they need to put something to protect the sunlight in the entrance door of the room. Early in the morning the sunlight enter in the room and it's not so good when you want to sleep a little bit more! But the place is fantastic!!

Sarita welcomed us warming and gave us advice immediately about trips and restaurants. She showed us to our room(the honeymoon suite) which was lovely. We were given lots of bottles of bubbly which was a nice touch. The local restaurant which Sarita booked for us,Bistro@365, was lovely,good variety and massive portions. The bed is uber comfortable and the bath a great size for a soak. We didn't have breakfast but Sarita was very sweet and suggested they could put food in the fridge in case we wanted it. During out stay we went to Bettys Bay for some penguin spotting and Hermanus for whale watching. Loved it. Hermanus is beautiful the coastlines to die for. We were sad to leave such a stunning guest house,with staff that really couldn't do enough. The dogs were gorgeous too!

This was the most beautiful hotel I've ever visited. All rooms have huge glass door/window with wonderful view on the mountains and fynbos fields. Each room is isolated from another, so you can sit outside enjoying the sunset and relax. Room is very specious and designed in very unique style. Room and hotel is so calm and relaxing. Super nice stuff, tasty breakfast. Also have an "honesty bar" and board games for the evening. The only thing I did not like that I have to leave this place.
