I love La Posada de Don Rodrigo! Beautiful, clean, super friendly staff, delicious food!

Stunning, antique filled converted convent with spectacular gardens. The restaurant was very good and so convenient. My only complaint is that there is no air-conditioning. We were provided with a fan, but travelers considering this option should be aware of that fact.

The staff were so nice and helped us arrange shuttles. The gardens were really pretty and the location of the hotel was very convenient.

Ubicación en la calle donde está el arco muy céntrica, contra esquina de Starbucks. El restaurante muy buena la comida y el desayuno. Por estar tan céntrico el cuarto 104 da a la calle y se oye mucho ruido de los coches y personas por lo que cuesta trabajo dormir. Los colchones y almohadas buenas pero si es un inconveniente lo del ruido de la calle.

The location is perfect , property is incredible . The room was clean and absolutely fun. I would recommend this hotel to anyone .

The hotel offers parking, which is a major plus in Antigua Guatemala! The room was clean, but it definitely needs curtains for better ventilation. Our room was located on one of the corridors, and the window has wooden doors with a second set of glass doors. If we wanted ventilation, we had to open the window; however, lots of people walk through the corridors, so there is absolutely no privacy. You either have to close the windows for privacy or open them for ventilation—there is no in-between. We opened the bathroom windows, but it wasn't enough. Maybe a ceiling fan would solve the problem, or white curtains to block the view. Also, it is kind of noisy.

Beautiful property! The staff were so kind to accommodate my early check-in after a long day of traveling. They were all so kind and helpful. The room was very clean but I wished it had a little more natural light. Location was fantastic, right in the middle of it all!

Wonderful stay. 8 days there. Centrally located. Wonderful. Nice food. Very accommodating for a vegetarian like myself.

Nice hotel, however there is a rooftop nightclub across the street which kept us up until it closed at 1am. There are no true windows or doors to the place so sound travelled in. Also it got incredibly hot in the room and we weren’t able to open the windows because it opened to the hallway, or it led to the noise. However it is very very central, the restaurant is fantastic, and it is quite beautiful.

Our stay was absolutely phenomenal. Beautiful property, such wonderful kind accommodating staff, and the best location in Antigua in my opinion! We feel so lucky to have stayed here.

Everything about the property is outstanding. Beautiful grounds, extremely clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and always helpful, and I want to especially thank Edgar and Jennifer for going above and beyond. The property is perfectly located in walking distance to most places of interest, and I can't recommend the hotel highly enough.
